Even Jaken cares about Kagome when he says Kagome has returned and Sesshomaru seems glad to hear it after he used to try to kill her three times and then protects her sometimes

He wasn’t mad that she called him big brother. He was mad that deep down inside he liked it. He cares for Inuyasha and cares deeply for Kagome. He definitely was a true redemption story. He was always my favorite character in the series. Just like his father he learned that not all humans are bad.
