Placing Objects on the Ground (Unity Tip)

How can i do that in 2D?

To anyone where it's not working, I had to tick "Is Trigger" in the capsule's "Capsule Collider" properties.

Okay so this has changed, I dont' know why unity hates us. I forgot how to do this, but apparently I was doing it right. Unity won't just DO this in the new updates. You have to have colliders on, and I still can't figure out object stacking. This is just bonkers, why is so so frustrating to do basic things.

yep, such an easy shortcut, but if you forget the keybinding its unnecessarily bothersome to find the reference again. They should honestly fix a better user manual.

It just drove me crazy, but I found a solution. If you, like me, while holding ctrl + shift, only half of the cube snapped, it is enough to change the Tool Handle Position from Pivot to Center.

Thanks for the great tip! Manually having to adjust models based on the ground was such a struggle.

Should probably mentioned that you need to drag by the center of pivot point.
Was dragging it around by arrows with no result until figured out that myself.
