reshade is only screenspace raymarching GI, and this is VERY different from rtx raytracing.
reshade SS-GI still looks significantly better than none.

this game is a beauty - gameplay, graphics, and story wise! playing it with 4k ultra on an oled tv and the right sound equipment it is just stunning - with or without hdr, reshade or whatever!

I hate how people call a simple reshade of changing colors and sharpness as Ray Tracing. Not even close. Ray tracing is is the basic form of lighting control than can’t just be modded into the game

with the 1.10 patch would you guys say that the pc version is by far the best looking version ( very noticeable?)? I have the ps4 version but if its a worthwhile upgrade I'd play the PC version, im sure i can find a sale.

These visuals don't require ray tracing. I've written one, and written real time 3D graphics. The "gimmicks" game devs have been doing for ages look better and happen more cheaply. The real benefit to ray tracing is POTENTIALLY that it saves artist time creating the gimmick if the real effect can be simulated and calculated in real time rather than created and tuned intentionally per-scene. Outside of that, we are wasting energy and paying nVidia more for nothing.
