Please Fix Subnautica...

Update: I heard from a Subnautica developer. He said the following: "Not sure if you've been keeping up to date, but we have been working on Subnautica for months with performance improvements and bug fixes. It's not ready yet for a major patch, but you can see the latest work in the experimental beta on Steam. There has been a dedicated team on Subnautica for nearly a year working on it." I just hope they fix up the console versions especially.

This was the worst bug experience for me. I made it all the way to the primary containment facillity (where the Sea emperor is located) and the warp gate was missing... It is literally impossible to progress as I haven't gotten the hatching enzymes before it happened... Does anyone know how to fix this? Im on PC btw

One of the most immersive breaking glitches was having the reapers just straight up swim through the terrain and ignoring colliders. That’s has really broken my immersion, there’s no point in hiding or trying to sneak around them if they’re just going to come up at you by swimming through the terrain.

I ran into a gamebreaking glitch in subnuatica also: Stuck on the photosensitivity screen, it ceases to advance, and I have NO MODS running. It makes me wonder if the devs are just a bunch of tilbakeståendes.

2 years later and the game is sadly still a mess

Great game but ... in the end of it the developers just plain rip us off. Get to almost the end of the game and I get stuck at the Alien base deep in the lava zone. Tried the unstuck in the game and just takes me back to the same location where I'm stuck at. I even tried dying ... no help can't go on any further. It should be against the law to have a bug that ends the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm honestly blown away at how much leeway they're getting. Here at the end of 2022, and I'm losing hours of progress in Below Zero because the game just decids to crash even from attempting to save, or the original just locks me out of all vehicles, bases, and item pickups along with all water permanently disappearing from the map. This is not cute, or ''no big deal'', these are atrocious game breaking bugs that are entirely unacceptable from a full-price ''finished'' product, especially ones that have been updated constantly.
I've gotten a refund, and I have no regrets.

i dont know why but when ever i go near the sunbeam landing site my game pulls up the loading screen and my true game gets minimized to the bottom left corner. Ive had the game for a while but never got into it. Ive seen multiple play throughts and ive only seen this glitch happen to me it sucks cause i cant access that area and ive already spent a total of 6 hour trying to get to that point as the first time it happened i thought it was a bug that would go away if i saved and rejoined but it stayed and i lost that play through so i started another and the same thing happened

Subnautica feels like a cash grab.
It's not finished. It should have been twice as big and twice as deep, with 10x the enemies.
It was almost the best game ever! ......
It was almost a Masterpiece!.......
It had an unmatched feeling of terror.
Then...in the middle of making the game....they bailed!
So sad, it was truly a rare gem.

I'm stuck in my base cuz I have a bug that won't let me remove or build things with battery's full and I'm literally crying cuz I have more than a month of progress and I'm soft locked it started with the vehicle upgrader now I can't do ANYTHING!

your right i had the same bug 3 times in a row where my gameplay screen goes to the bottom left corner and stays there i could not find info online on how to fix this

hay just to add too all of this I've tried to run the game because I just wanted to play it for the first time and I cant run it I downloaded it and after I open it I get an unity error and it just closes for no reason I'm so confused and I've bean trying to fix this for 10 hours now, and I still cant fined it maybe that's because I'm not doing enough research but this is something the dev's should had fixed by now and I use a older GPU so I'm starting to wonder if they even tested it with really old GPU's like the AMD HD 5000 series and more because I have a AMD Radeon HD 5450 and its not to bad because at least I can play Minecraft and ROBLOX THATS SAID AT 800 x 600..... but I was expecting to get at least some good graphic options on this game because games like Roblox and Minecraft aren't well optimized and I can play some games with this GPU so I don't know if its my GPU I really doubt it I think their has bean this bug for a few mounts but I don't know either way this sucks I really hope they fix this and all of the other bugs in your video.

I didn't realize Subnautica didn't autosave. After days of playing, the game crashed and I just lost everything. I'm done with Subnautica.

I just bought Subnautica for my PC (had it on my Switch for a little while) and I had constant crashes and random crashes. I hate having to save every ten seconds to avoid losing any progress. My PC runs the game beautifully up to the point of crashing. I honestly don’t know what to do and I can’t believe it’s the cache cause I’ve barely done anything in-game. I don’t know, just don’t know.

I’ve played subnautica for ages, but I’m only now getting close to beating it, but in the aurora the data download you need to get the Neptune blue print won’t let me get it, so it’s just b r o k e n

I played the game twice just so notice i cant finish it because nessesary places just glitched away. This really distroyed my experience

I actually cant complete it every time i gather all the materials to disable the gun i have an error in my application every single time

Currently stuck under the floor of the aurora where the cargo bay is..... I'm under neath the freaking ramp going down there's no way up and then on top of that I accidentally phased through the wall and can't go back because apparently it fully loaded?🧐 Just hoping that I keep my upgrades that I came here for.

Same, my pc is also able to run everything to do with subnautica, yet for some reason the graphics are glitched and when i have my texture level on high it still seems to be the level of low, I'd love for this to be fixed cause it just kinda bugs me alot!

I’m watching this as I’m attempting to work out a bug where my repair tool won’t work, but like ONLY ON ONE DOOR IN THE AURORA. It’s the prawn suit room. I cant get in. Literally every other door has been fine, but this one has decided to be all weird.

In my game cyclops fragments don’t show up in the areas they should and I need it I don’t know how to fix it please help

My whole entire game by a stupid loading glitch that broke my prawn and also ruined all of my save file I’m stuck upside down and I can’t do anything since it thinks I’m in my prawn suit and before the glitch happened my inventory was full and that means I can’t pick anything up too.

tbh they should not even think about subnautica until they fix the glitches like the world rendering glitch in below zero

As soon as I entered the aurora (about 10 minutes ago) the game crashed and when I reopened it the file was gone.

I heard a reaper when I went swimming also I don’t play subnanica
(Thats a joke I do play subnanca)

My game just got rid of water and I was in the final part😭

I noticed some of the glitches also but, my biggest pet peeve is the mobile vehicle bay keep disappearing. I don't know if the gasopods are destroying it or just another glitch in the game. And I can't seem to find the second power cell charger fragment and I have checked all of the wreck locations 3 times each already but, still no power cell charger fragment.

I JUST WANT AUTOSAVE

Some things I'd like to see other than bug and performance fixes: Better creature AI that makes building defensive weapons and upgrades more worthwhile, nerf prawn suit tankiness because its borderline indestructible, make cyclops less useless(Why use it when you have prawn + well placed bases, its costly, power hungry, takes forever to get blueprints, not that durable), add weather, slightly better enemy models that look more real.

Probably more but who am I kidding they gave up on this game. Maybe they'll release a definitive in 10 years.

theres no water in my game and nothings loading in and i was about to beat the game all i needed to do was get the plants for thr hatching potion thing then i needed to build the rocket but i have to start all over again csuse nothing is fixing

And I can't see the explosion from the aurora when it explodes but it just poof to very broken
