GRAFTING OLD GRAPEVINES | 1 YEAR GRAFT UPDATE WITH FRUITS

Converting old grapevines can be an effective way of using an established root system and change varieties in just one year. Great videos. I have 8 good grafts of black figs onto a large branch of green fig. Now i need mandarin scions to graft onto a poor flavoured clementine tree. Where in Spain can i obtain them? Any ideas?

Can a domesticated grape be grafted onto a wild native species like a rivergrape root? I've got one in my back yard that I swear has got to be 12'' or more in diameter on the bottom of the vine.

I was lucky to get hold of a few scions that I would like to use to graft some old grapevines (30-40yo). The best time for grafting according to you seems to be late spring which is ~April here in Germany. I'd be keen to learn how to properly store the scions for such a long time (4-5month) especially as I don't have enough space in my fridge. Maybe you can make a video on how to harvest and store them.
