Preordered a set of his new sway bars for the B8 platform. He makes some good stuff, just need him to snag an S4 so we can also get some more parts.

And an original jack? You'll never be able to use it.

A bit too expensive... Doesn't really fix the problem I have with fitting my jack and a jack stand at the same time.

4L Q7s are the worst for jack points. These would be nice, if they made them for the 4L chassis.

I just purchased a Kwik-Lift for my garage. They're out of production but I found it nearby on FB Marketplace. Solved the lifting issue for all of our vehicles. 👍

I bought some rubber pucks and immediately regretted it... The jack+squishy rubber+shallow plastic does not make any more confident that my 4,000lb S6 won't squash me. Got me wondering anyone out there has just tried cutting down a couple of bits of box steel cut down to length, bolted/welded a couple of them together for height, and maybe notched it slightly for jack stands? I feel like it could be a $300+ saving, and let you use a U-jack so you don't have to cut your carpet for jack points

I would be a little concerned that the screws would back out due to harshness of driving over rough roads.... and I dont mean off-roading, just driving on todays roads! It didnt seem that there as any room for a small lock washer with them being machined so precisely; I'd probably add a bit of Loctite to give me the piece of mind of not losing a part that pricey. $250 bucks is no joke just to have a jacking point... and you still dont have a place for a jack stand!

Hey so I ended up picking up a 2014 a6 and I love the car, way more then my s4. However it does have 135k miles. From your video I already plan on replacing the pcv, thermostat, and water pump. With 135k miles do you think it’s smart to tune the car for power and start pushing it? Or is 135k to much. Also how much more miles can I expect to get out of this car? The previous owner was on top of maintenance and it was only 1 owner. Sorry with all the questions just super interested in this platform

Me watching even though my C7 was deemed totaled last week. Awesome to see folks still innovating.

Bought these mostly because one of my 4 OEM jack blocks was missing when I bought the car.
That one went in easy, but....how the %$@& do you get the other OEM ones out? No amount of prying on that grommet thingy is getting it out!

@jancarlostrinidad9881 made a comment below that this doesn’t resolve the issue of placing the car on stands after jacking up at the jack points. I agree. In the video the stands are a little further back, but it looks like the area was bending from the pressure. The only area that I could find that is reinforced barely sticks out beyond the covers under the side skirts. Remove those covers and you can see that reinforced area with two plastic plugs. You can jack from there and put your stands at the designated jack points. Powerflex makes good puck-like adapters for the jack points.
