Basically, currency is printed for the purposes of uses only, or is tobe deposited in the bank to do more development of the country by investing in industrial growth. So,keeping inside cupboard or below bedsheet is no sense method if it's officially earned, or has to pay big taxation on it ,if it kept unnecessarily to hide them, RBI has done it for the betterment of growth boost.

Why you media persons are so interested though common people of India have no headache at all. All those have black money are worried.

Why people stock so much notes. Is they done it to hide there income and release from giving interest on it .

Note swap scheme is a scheme to whiten black money. A person can exchange 10 notes at a time without any identity card but that person can visit the bank any number of times. There is no restriction on this. This information is available in many banks and other places. Now the real fun will be for the bank employees. This scheme is a masterstroke to whiten black money.
