You are doing great work. When are you deploying to other garbage patches?

I was listening to another program that said a lot of this stuff is coming from the orient. People just disgust me sometimes!! But people like you I'm glad are around. My daughter when she was here was very passionate about the environment. She is buried in the same cemetery as Rachel Carson, someone who she didn't even know was at that cemetery and someone who she revered and respected. They want to find out about the problem when people need to stop being slobs. I think disposable lighters should be completely banned! Along with so many other things. I think in the city of Taipei they banned disposable coffee cups and people have to bring their own cups. People will conform they will have. When you think about it none of our ancestors had any of these things. 200 years ago there was no such thing as these plastic items. And then we wonder why people's hormones are so screwed up because plastic attaches to so many of our receptors. Thank you and kudos to the people in this video and people like them trying to solve The world's ecological problems and pick up the pieces from all these stinking rotten idiots. And then just recently I saw something on the news about how these polycarbonate bottles have nanoparticles in them and it's no wonder Americans are also fat drinking out of those plastic bottles all the time! I use reusable tumblers that are made from stainless steel and I have stainless steel straws and a little travel packet with fork and knife and spoon.

Don't ask people what they are doing to use less plastic. People don't have a lot of options when it comes to buying it. Instead, ask what the companies and governments are going to do about the manufacturing of it.

“When you refuse single use plastics it makes a dramatic effect…” this rhetoric is OK, but it’s most certainly big corporations making the biggest difference in their choices. It’s not like we have a lot of options.

Million mile battery, no realistic mention that more than 20% of an average charge goes to sentry mode, ac, non driving functions etc. In the context of charging at home then going about my weekend staying at my gfs place with no charging.

Tesla claims my m3 gets 345 about on a full charge but don't fully charge it to avoid degradation and don't use it to very low soc to avoid degradation.

Realistically 280 miles on a "full" charge is rare. Soooo they say million mile battery, I say not in practice but great idea.

Plastic only began to be mass produced by the 1960's.. if we created this problem in less then 70 years.. imagine what it will be like after 100 years.. or 150 years. The worst is on a quick decline. All started by the industrial revolution

It's from India bc they don't have a proper garage system. So they just throw it in the river and the river travels to the ocean. Plus you have people from ships throwing tlstuff overboard constantly

I’m Just starting So excuse my ignorance 😊. How does it get into the ocean to begin with ? I live in Toronto Ontario Canada, so I guess being so far from an ocean, I don’t actually think about my products getting into an ocean. I’m not saying they don’t.
I just imagine New Yorkers throwing their cups into the ocean after their lunch breaks 🤪. I know silly. But like I said, I’m far from an ocean lol
Companies don’t do that do they? I can see maybe wind being a problem and of course fishing materials. But 🤷🏼‍♀️

I throw my rubbish into the ocean because the ocean is big and anything you put in it disappears. Also the fish are dumb they don't even drink water. So what's the big deal, plastic floats so it's just gonna float and stay in the middle of the ocean where no body lives.
