This is actually interesting.

This is invigorating. Loved the show and as a blender armature finding out they used blender for this show is an eye opener

As someone interested in animation but can't draw to save their life, this is such an amazing technique, to see fluid animation in 2D is amazing.

Do they use 3D to animate 2D Japanese animation?

Did they just use the 3d models to trase it and animate an entire scene in 2D, or did they just use a shader to make it look 2d like Kill la Kill?

Yups i agree with you, i hope many anime studio can implement 3D in 2D scene soon.. I love to see that. Like AOT when MAPPA make that.
