First time I thought he said “I shoot 500,000 rounds”, to then realize he said 500-1000 rounds. I was like dang son! Also, when he said “weak hand” I heard “when I’m working on my weekend” 😂
ОтветитьI've been dry firing with toy guns, since I was 3 years old. What's new?
Ответить... ie , You dont wanna Alec Baldwin your wife
ОтветитьGangstas at home are practising that armed three-finger overhand side-grip intimidation pose while throwing signs weak hand. 👌🤞
ОтветитьWhen your trigger ‘clicks’ after you pull it, is your gun on or off safety?
ОтветитьThanks Doug!!
Ответить9 years ago? it just feels like 9 days ago
ОтветитьInpormative vid sir
ОтветитьTalks about safety, and importance of dry practice. Thanks for nothing, Doug. If you came to this video looking for dry fire drills, etc. You'll be disappointed. Comments section is full of "OMG will dry firing break my pistol?!" 🤮
ОтветитьMy question.
I’m a USPSA shooter and I shoot 500 to 700 rounds a week about 100 to 150 rounds a day so here’s the question, would you recommend shooting less days a week and more rounds each practice time? Like shooting 400 rounds two days a week rather thank 100 or so each day.
Please let me know your thoughts.
500,000 rounds
ОтветитьWay to not run through any drills!
Ответить500,000 rounds !!! In one session!!!! Naa
ОтветитьHow do people break their gun from dry firing?
ОтветитьNo one ever mentions (with striker fired pistols) to fold up a small piece of paper and put in between the barrel chamber and slide. It will keep the gun out of battery so you can actually pull the trigger when dry firing without having to rack it... just an FYI
ОтветитьDry fire has helped me a lot. I'm always looking for new tips to improve in that area. Thanks!
ОтветитьDoug, I follow your videos and they are very helpful. I like the fact that you keep them under four minutes and focused. Good job!
Ответить500,000 rounds? ?
ОтветитьGood video. Do you use snap caps when dry firing or is it not necessary? Thanks.
ОтветитьOne more bull s. 1000 rounds on range? where you get free ammo? Are you on unemployment ? Get F job
ОтветитьBull s. from the beginning. And you full of it. There is no such think as pro shooter
ОтветитьIs there any damage done to the gun by dry firing? Or between striker fired vs hammer ones? Thank you
Ответитьcan you dry fire a new sig sauer p250?? I jus bought it and wanna get a feel and see if I pull left or right at break of the trigger pull.....thanks
ОтветитьJust super simple, put a couple of post it's on the wall.Draw, acquire sight picture, trigger pull.Make sure you are maintaining sight picture as hammer falls.
Ответить"Always treat the gun as if it's loaded." In many lists of firearm safety rules, that's rule number one. How does this jibe with the idea of dry firing at home? Answer: It doesn't. Unless you have a gun range at home, you shouldn't be dry firing there.
ОтветитьI use caps on them all. What about the gun would make the use of snap caps a wise thing to do? I use em on everything from my Sig to my S&W .357 and Colt AR15
Ответитьdepends on the gun
Ответить"Who makes the mag pouch you using." @e28p : Looks like Tuff's "In-Line" 5 or 8 mag that is also MOLLE-Compatible....
ОтветитьUsing the proper nomenclature: Dry Practice rather than the Bogus "Dry Firing" !
ОтветитьWho makes the mag pouch you using.
ОтветитьThanks for an informative video.
ОтветитьI always use snap caps when dry firing for the good of my firing pin. Am I wasting my money?
Ответить@bentonvillefisherman Its a bad idea with old firearms, the reason is that older rifles have bad heat treatment on the metal part more to the point the fireing pin, a fireing pin that is too hard can rupture, with improvements in firearms manufactureing you dont have anything to worry about with firearms made around 1940s and after
Ответитьthank you, your vids help a lot
ОтветитьGood video brother, Thumbs up!~~John
Ответить@bentonvillefisherman Most modern firearms are able to be dry fired without a problem, with the exception of rimfires and some revolvers. The best thing to do is read your manual and see if the company warns against it. I have a gun that the company says not to dry fire unless I take the magazine disconnect out. I have dry fired a 1911 hundreds of times without issue. Like I said though, research the weapon to make sure it is appropriate to dry fire.
Ответитьi thought dry firing was bad for your gun
