Hi Tech Deals, I've been watching your channel for a while, but after this video I subscribed because of your excellent advice. But I have a particular question. If you or any others in this comment section could help me out. I recently purchased the i7-8086K this past late September on amazon for $399. I am a heavy gamer but also a video editor and photographer. What would your thoughts be on Upgrading? For just 129 dollars more, I could return the 8086k and purchase the i9-9900k. I am at that point where I don't know if the hassle of returning a good processor would be worth the upgrade. Thanks for everyone's help!

To be honest I'm a bit dissapointed with this channel, recommending to PRE-ORDER without knowing the real benchmark score. This channel are supposed to focus on the DEAL is right. Yes i9-9900K is the best processor for gaming. But by how many FPS? If the differences is only 5-10 fps compared to ryzen or 9700K. Is it WORTH THE DEAL?
Also, 9900K - 8 core 16 thread, 530 USD,... 9700K 8 core 8 thread, 410 USD... the deal should be 9700K no? Need to add 120 USD just to get hyper threading. It has been proven many times that hyperthreading differences is negligible in games. Usually only 1 or 2 fps difference.

So many AMD crybabies lol. They just mad that even after all these years AMD still can't win the gaming battle. Which is of course what the vast majority of us care about when we watch a CPU video.

The 9900K only gets good fps because of the cooler used, that's what it is. 😂

Honestly, I believe (and really hope) that this CPU is the last in Intels 14++plus++ Refresh series! Hence I do not believe this is at all future-proof! I would save the money and hope that Intel get their tech together and fixes the 10Nm tech, which is bound to be brand new tech, instead of "just another refresh". And especially the asking price, does that I can't really understand that you recommend this one.

Finally a good review... started to get sick of AMD cult on every single video and every single comment... they are like sect. Sure good there is nice value 32 core CPU that is fastest in some programs that 99% of you will never use, good for you. Intel, although bad as a company (jerks imo), still has the best CPUs except for the highest class since recently that 32 core AMD.

A true Intel user like me, will always be thankful of AMD, they put a lot of pressure making them CPUs backwards compatible, now, Intel was forced to do the same, and that's amazing cause I got an AORUS board for cheap that now will be able to run an i9-9700K via a Bi@s update. That gonna save me a lot of cash.

Thank you very much AMD, from the bottom of my heart.

tired of channels mentioning ryzen if their channel is about benchmarking and gaming... Ryzen processors are good for everything else BUT gaming. Ryzen is on par in comparison to Haswell edition of intel in gaming, period, end of story.

It is not the time to upgrade, if you play games fast now, you will play all games from this generation of consoles fast. You will have problems only in next generation. It is dumb to think otherwise.

The i9 9900k benchmarks just came out and it is only 16% faster than the 2700x and your thought that the value is good for this cpu is not true, the prices are WAY above msrp and you do not even need a cooler for the 2700x makes it a way better deal.
