I'd lose the kill switch.. i've seen others with kill switch having problems like this.
Ответитьi am going through some troubles with my C5 as well, I found out earlier this year that C5's like their voltage.
Last year my AC door wasn't working on the passenger side and it was blowing hot air instead of cold. This spring I had to put a new battery in it because it wasn't starting and somehow the passenger side AC actuator door began working again. I thought for sure I was going to have to rip out the dash and replace it but I lucked out.
My ABS light was also on, I had a friend go through the grounds and clean or replace them if needed, the ABS is working properly now.
Good luck on your project! The car looks great!
How old is your battery? 12V is considered low for an automotive battery. It should be between 12.6-12.8v
ОтветитьHow is the starter?
ОтветитьDoes your C5 have power seats? If so, position your seat where it’s comfortable to drive. Then pull out the fuse for the power seats. This worked for me on my C5.
ОтветитьSup bro. I watched your vidoes about 2 years ago before I moved to CA from WI. We drove here as well. I picked those vidoes apart man thanks
ОтветитьI have a c5 as well. The issue is the battery drain. Thinking of putting in a Kill switch. seems it is not working for you? Did you find out a solution? Please advise
ОтветитьHow old is the battery? Even though your getting a reading of 12V the battery is still lower than you think, may have a dead cell, the kill switch may not be that compatible even though it may work a few times it will still hinder car from starting. Electrical is wired, what seems to make sense is the very thing that’s wrong! Mine did the exact same thing, even though reading said no charge necessary I charged the battery, problem solved!
