I love that controller too
Ответитьhow do you save without the memory card? and no im not using everdrive.
ОтветитьRetroTime or BlueRetro????????????
ОтветитьI think the GameCube controller was way worse than the n64 controller
ОтветитьNot sure why but my NSO N64 controller disconnects from these blue retro devices every 5 minutes 😢
ОтветитьQuest 64 don't count. 😂😂😭😭
ОтветитьCome tax time I'm going bonkers on my N64. Recapping the system, ReN64 PSU replacement, RetroGem Shiny HDMI mod, BlueRetro adapter, modify my old MadKatz controller for Bluetooth (and restore the stick of course), and of course an EverDrive.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if this works with xbox 360? I figured it did but wasnt sure?
ОтветитьIve been disappointed with both these items. the the controller is designed for switch online only it doesn't even rumble on project 64, and the receiver cant handle rumble effectively and is janky af when it comes to switching between mem pak and rumble. yet another ineffective n64 wireless controller. i don't understand why its so difficult for companies to get right. i just want a wireless n64 controller to work on the original console with all the original functionality.
Ответитьthis is similar to something i recently did, i bought nintendo's SNES switch controller and i bought 8bitdo's retro receiver and i started using that to play on my original snes because the dpads on my original are no good; one is ripped the other was no longer springing back and i replaced them with new pads but the diagonals were terrible SO i figured i'd try out the wireless option and its so good i dont notice any input lag diagonals are great controller feels like a snes controller should.
ОтветитьNothing wrong with N64 controller
ОтветитьThe perfect N64 controller is an original N64 controller with a decent stick. End of the story!
ОтветитьWhat is the monitor you are using @Madlittlepixel?
ОтветитьWhere would I get ahold of the wireless 64 controllers? they look awesome - I love N64 controllers like you.
Ответитьwhat display is that? do you use one of those fancy ultra HDMI thing?
ОтветитьI love the n64 controller and the n64, if you don’t like it don’t buy it, better, more for me!!
ОтветитьCan you do a review on the new 8bitdo modkit that can be used with original stick or with their new hall effect joystick when it comes out please?
ОтветитьI just got my adapter in today. Have some issues. No problem connecting controllers to it but it won’t “rumble”. Also, I can’t connect to the website for memory card formatting or controller mapping, etc. none of my computers will recognize the device. And yes, I followed the instructions. No controllers were connected. Frustrating. Anyone else have this problem? If so, is there a fix for it? Haven’t heard back from customer service yet.
ОтветитьI love the Nintendo 64 controller. One of my favorite controller. The joystick is great and responsive but not durable.
ОтветитьHow did you get the rumble to work? I updated the firmware on the dongle and no luck so far.
ОтветитьJust got the dongle in the mail... Are you having any success with rumble when selecting "both" memory and rumble from the OTA interface?
ОтветитьI love the N64 but the controller kinda sucks for some games.
Ответитьlove the controller too!
ОтветитьI understand---- part of the experience is nostalgia --- and there's nothing wrong with that. I actually consider it part of the experience with retro games.
ОтветитьI never hated the Nintendo 64 it's my number 1 favorite all-time console, N64 haters wouldn't know a great game if it bit them in the ass!
ОтветитьI personally loved the N64 controller design. It was great for me.
ОтветитьI love N64 I remember getting it for Christmas and my brother and I got the atomic purple controller as well. The games were great and we were big wrestling fans so the WCW and WWF games were ahead of their time!!!
Ответить@Madlittlepixel What’s the name of that screen your using? Looks cool
Ответитьthe perfect combo
ОтветитьI have a Brawler 64 which converts the madness to a symmetrical style. (LT snd RT are both Z)
ОтветитьI totally forgot I ordered these. As I was watching your video, I got an alert that they arrived in the mail, and it wasn't until I opened the package that I realized that this is what I ordered. I blame old age. At least yours arrived not crushed, unlike mine...
ОтветитьI wonder if you can hook up that controller up to a Wii U? 🤔
ОтветитьNever understood the hate for the N64 controller, it was comfy as hell. As you said, each game was specifically designed to only use the d-pad or the stick, so you didn't have to switch. I feel like people who complain about it being "confusing" are being deliberately obtuse
ОтветитьI love the retro gaming aftermarket which includes new homebrew games, clone systems, controllers, and cart adapters. I often watch this channel to keep up with new aftermarket products. I click on your videos when they come up in the recommendations.
ОтветитьHave all these 😎
ОтветитьGreat ! Now I need to finally get me a n64….or wait for the MiSter version
ОтветитьThat combination of translucent orange and solid black looks amazing. Makes me want to get an N64 and give it the same treatment.
Ответитьi feel like the wii remote was an evolution of the n64's. hell, the nun chuck is literally the middle prong of the n64 with a better stick, and extra button. you turn the controller sideways or vertical for sports, aiming, motion, ect, and use the nunchuck for 3d games and other things that support analog movement. similar to switching your grip on the n64. thats how i see it atleast.I love the controller to death, but the sticks are super annoying to replace.
ОтветитьI was pretty excited about the NSO controllers until I saw the input lag results, 16ms is way too much for retro games. Would love to see this one tested.
ОтветитьLol "Quest 64 don't count!"
ОтветитьMy opinion of that controller began to sour after receiving a hand injury with the original Mario Party. Later on acquiring the significantly more comfortable GCN controller is what truly made me turn against the first party N64 controller. To this day, I'd rather use the Hori64 along with the Retro-Bit and 8bitdo offerings in this day and age. Especially as Nintendo was too lazy to add padding to the NSO version of the controller. One of the only rewasons I'd ever use the first party would be due to Goldeneye 007 and even then the controls there haven't aged in stellar fashion.
ОтветитьThis is dope! I was hoping for something like thus. I got 2 n64 wireless controllers. Did they make something like this for snes for the wireless snes controllers?
ОтветитьI always loved the 64 controller also. Most people would think you’d have to move your grips around during gameplay to play anything. Nintendo had you covered for whatever game you choose, they had a control configuration for that.
ОтветитьPicked up a couple Brawler64s a couple years back and haven't missed the original N64 controller at all since, but the combo of the Blueretro dongle/NSO 64 controller is mighty tempting.
Ответитьthe N 64 controller was revolutionary another great innovation from Nintendo analog stick if it wasn't for Nintendo we wouldn't have it. Playstation didn't come out with their analog stick until after the 64 rumble two the first controller to have rumble lol revolutionary
ОтветитьReal quick
ОтветитьI've been doing this a while with the Intec Gaming adapter you showed off in a previous vid. 👀
