im paying 1.075 at 18 for my f82 but my intrest is like 16 percent its all black with the carbon ceramics and a indivual interior around 65k miles now is it bad price paid 52 with gap insurance and warranties tax title registration etc,

I'm 25 and finally got my dream car: 2018 f82 M4 Competition last year. For a reference, i paid 48k for the car with 43k miles(around 35k down pay). I used my school credit union which gives me a 3.99 APR. I'm paying 250 car payment, I switched from Geico ($320) to NJM($220) a monthly with a racing on highway charge on my record (passed 5 years), and I spend around 280 for gas monthly (work from home). So in total 250+220+280= 750 a month. Still a lot considering its I paid a huge down payment. But it is what it is, hope my stats can help fellow bimmers wanting to own a M car. 💪

I just bought a month ago a 2019 bmw m4 competition for 50k…. I took out a loan from my personal bank with is a credit union bc the interest rate at dealers is like never before. I got a 6% interest rate for 6 years. I pay 750 a month for the car and it’s a very clean car with only 35k Miles

LOL I pay $650 for my F80, $450 note and $200 insurance. I bought it with 20k miles and put down $21k. Just a word to the wise, put Money down, dont listen to this cat. If the car is $60k and you put $20k, you're only financing $40k and you can alway sell the car and walk away with money back in your pocket if you haven't paid the car off yet. 

One piece of advice I'd give is, make sure when you finance, finance less than you can comfortably pay - example if you can afford to comfortably pay $600/mo don't get a car for $600/mo, get a car that's $450/mo and you can always make balloon payments to pay off the car faster and pay less interest overall.

Interest on auto loans are 99% of the time front loaded so you end up paying most of the interest in the first year or two depending on how long the loan is. That's important to note for people who think they avoid interest by getting out of loans a year or two early. Thats why there are stories of people who still owe near the same amount they originally signed for after a year or two(mostly due to high interest rates but this plays a part too).

Has the insurance in cali spiked up too? My rates for 2 cars has gone up $150 a month, smh

I pay 340 insurance for my f80 😭But im 19 so I think thats a big factor. Had my license since 16 but still hurts lol. For my dream car its worth it to me! 🙌 I agree with not putting down alot because of the same reasons, doesn't REALLY affect ur monthly unless its many K's, but If you plan on keeping it a down payment can save interest, IF u don't care abt either put it toward mods like I did LMAO 🤣🤣

Whenever you buy a car lets say the car is 40k final price out the door but you dont put anything down. A few days later after you purchase it, if I pay 10k towards that balance will I be ok to NOT pay monthly for a few months or am I still forced to pay the monthly payments even though I paid a lot more in advance?

Stage 2 straight pipe you shouldn’t have crank hub issues but if you redline it & try to push more power your gonna have issues.
