I think this will just stop people from using yt, and give other platforms the kickstart they need to get to the market

Clickbait=more clicks=more adds=more money=more good.
I am cynical and think they would never give that up even if it was profitable, because the disappointment creates addiction and cause you to stay longer and work harder to find a good video. YT don't want you to feel satisfied after seeing a video. This trick is used on other social media platforms

Ads are so hostile. They put the volume of ads so much higher than regular videos to grab your attention. They are repetitive and annoying, they take up mental space. Nobody should want to be bombarded with this psychological bombing of ads in the privacy of their own home.

Idk how mobile works cell phones are garbage but if u got a desktop, mac, ect get opera browser I haven't had a add in well over 5 yrs

YT is nothing without community, they want to charge for other peoples content, they don`t create nothing, people don`t want to pay them and don`t want to watch commercials eder. Only solution is community contribution and that should be enough, but no, they want billions in profit and that is not acceptable. They are forcing this business models to average people. Only solution is that people are allowed to pay voluntarily to creators. They should allow payments for micro or macro amounts direct to creators and lets say 10% of that money they take for providing platform etc. Its easy-beasy with regulated crypto-

Now. They blocked me from watching, with all my ad blockers on. But there is an easy way around it. 🤣 Still not paying and no ads.

I started using ad-block fucking ages ago when the ads started to get really bad. Also sometimes getting unskippable 2 hour long "ads" that were just someone promoting their shite podcast. Now it's about 30 seconds of ads before almost every single video as well as a ton of mid-rolls that just destroy the whole flow and enjoyment. How about having an actually decent bloody service, without all that extra bollocks ontop of the ads? I would gladly pay. But no.

Have not gotten the ban notification yet and I have watched more than 3 videos with it on.

Schmucks, there are a hell of a lot more sites then YT. when it gets to the point they have so many pop ups whining about adblockers it gets as bad as all the crap ads, people will just stop watching
