Under shareholders equity there are 3 components
1. SHARE CAPITAL(total no of shares * face value)
2. Reserve(a portion of Profits accumulated over the years and premium of the shares) usually for future use like share buyback or for another company aquisition.
3.Surplus(Profits for the current Financial year)

If Share capital is increasing then it is not a good sign because company is offering more shares in exchange of money. This is called equity dilution

If Reserve and Surplus are increasing then it is very positive sign whic means company is getting more money that are directly from its operations.
