I liked that you were using SprintLayout6.0 it's an excellent and inexpensive package.. I wish that for videos like this if you would add important information like the type of transfer paper that you used and where you got it and things like the concentration of the citric acid and hydrogen peroxide and the ratio of the etchant mix. So many videos like this one leave out information that should be presented and would eliminate many questions.

The PCB turned out very nicely. And what kind of paper did you use that doesn't leave it on the paper?🤔

You waste a lot of water in the process.

Why the tinning of the whole cooper surface needed? Isn’t the only places around the holes enough?

И это качественная плата? Баллончик краски + лазерный гравер = дорожка 0,1мм, дольше, но из расходников только краска и раствор для травления. Не каждый принтер протянет термотрансферную бумагу, плюс плотность тонера почти всегда оставляет желать лучшего. Фоторезист и то лучше. Но там расходники дороже. Плюс засветка. Для такой платы, с большой шириной дорожек это сойдет, хотя кустарное лужение испортило всю эстетику.

High quality?

A much better methode is to use PCB with a photo layer. Then print out with a laser printer on a transparent foliage. After this fix the foliage on the PCB and use a UV lamp.

PAINSTAKING! When you tinned the copper with flux and solder! I don’t know which would leave less pollution or make less threat to personal health: dipping it in that expensive ‘liquid tin’ or doing it like you, with solder? I went the whole silk screen from photosensitive emulsion course, and really yours is probably even better. I don’t make proper stainless steel screens and stencils, just use the one they sell at the art shop for T-shirts. So whichever route you take in the end will be result of ongoing experiences, and always making use of what you have to hand in a makeshift manner. Thank you very much for sharing this!!

I've done it, the old fashioned way. Lost some boards and I had a lot of acid to neutralize.

This way I make PCB for STM32 ( LQFP-64 ).

Can you use an inkjet printer to print to the thermal paper, would it still iron on?

The board just looks terrible. No overlay, no plate-through-hole possibility, no solder-mask, no tinned lands. I made this rubbish 50 years ago and then went to professional manufacturers to get a board that did not embarrass me. All my boards have the component values on them so that any of the staff can build the module years after it was purchased and not come and tell me: "I AM AN IDIOT." And the board only costs $3.00.

The lettering looks good but is not needed and wont last.

I'm getting pranked or something right? You were really out here in 2022:
- manually cutting copper clad with snips
- spreading flux paste with your finger
- drilling vias and aligning silkscreen by hand
and calling this high quality?

Why did you use hydrogen peroxide and cetric acid to wash the board before putting in the PCB paper work

Oh my god, that's so much work. Sorry if I sound off-putting but this seems like so much wasted effort. And it's sponsored by JLCPCB which can make proper double-sided (or 4-layer) PCBs suitable for 0.5 mm pitch SMT components and plated vias and what not very cheap. By the time you finish the whole DIY method (which I assume also fail in some way regularly) you will almost have the finished PCBs in your mail box for just a little bit more money.
