Dean Custom Zone (Cheap And 80's)

Just ordered one of these second hand. Today. Im stupid buy guitars based of vibes and then listen to reviews and demos after and normally regret my purchases hahah. But this demo solidified in my mind this guitar is for me and my vibes were right for the 4th time in my guitar Journey. Seems like locking tuners and maybe a new bridge might be in order. But other than that seems to sound great and imo look really cool

Is the intonation adjusted from the tremolo?

Does a J in front of the serial number means it was made in Japan?

I have that guitar but the bridge pickup didnt convinced me, so I change It for a dimarzio crunchlab and now really sounds like a beast

kinda like dating a crazy chick......which i don't do anymore.....but I'd do Her ! LOL

I feel that if you put some Pepto Bismol stickers on it, it would be fine. Maybe some spoon stickers for fret markers. You could also do the Hello Kitty thing. Even the cheapest Deans are usually playable. Pretty funny.

It needs bright yellow shark inlays, and turquoise hardware :)

Pink Body OK, Fret board NO WAY. Best wait till it gets in second hand shops BUY. then sand paper remove pink on fret board, then get sander out and relic body, You might even find these in charity shops, Look like a Barbie accessory. Problem is This GUY could shred on Sea Sick Steves Guitar 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Elmo, I loved the 80s pink, yellow, etc guitars, and when grunge showed up it's like everything had to be black and or grey...or just boring. When grunge showed up I felt like my parents returned the color tv, and brought back the old black and white. Even though I liked some Nirvana, STP, I do miss the days when color was in. Judging by guitars and pedals now, I think it's making a come back.

I love a hot pink guitar, but that painted fretboard turns it from cool into tacky. If it simply had a regular maple board and a matching pink headstock, it would look 1,000 times better, instead of looking like a Barbie guitar.

Honestly a part of this channel's charm is that I don't think I've ever yet seen you truly enjoy anything you've demoed.

Apart from the colour, it sounds pretty neat. Beginners who are also on the "Hello Kitty path" would probably grab it and buy it without hesitation. In any case, this guitar is without a doubt worth the money.

where did you get the guitar? cause both thomann and musicstore don't have ANY dean guitars (probably due to the gibson lawsuit).
