I am an art teacher and would love your hamburger sheet as I am about to tackle mixed media for the first time.
ОтветитьWhat pencil is it you use to draw your subjects. I tried using water colour pencil but it doesnt seem to work great on the acrylic paint 😬
ОтветитьI like to use old beat up books that mean something to me in one way or another. Makes the art extra special!
ОтветитьHi Karen. I'm just looking into doing some mixed media projects. Is it too late to ask for a pdf of the hamburger? I love the visual on that to make life easier. Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks for the info. Prudence is needed, however, when using old books in a foreign language — as you may actually be using sacred text. Latin, for example, is the official language of the Catholic Church and many of the old books in Latin are actually biblical passages, bibles, Mass Missals, prayer books, etc. I am not able to see all the pages you flipped through in the first book, but i did read one of the chapters is called Piety of Children (in Latin)…
ОтветитьCan I get that hamburger cheat sheet please?
ОтветитьAs a retired teacher, I just want to commend you on the videos in your collection. I am beginning mixed media again for the enjoyment of art. You answered all of the important questions that I would ask if I was in a workshop in person. I have just found your channel and am watching beginning techniques for mixed media. I did it years ago in art classes in college but not recently. I'm very, very pleased with how you give instructions and exceptional advice. I will be moving through many of your videos. Thank you SO much!!
Ответитьplease send Mixed Media Hamburger System layering system cheatsheet, thank you
ОтветитьCan you use rubber stamps on top of your collage, soince you just used medium?
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video very much, but artists have not been mixing oils with acrylics for 100s of years. Acrylic paints are plastic based and were only invented in the 1950s 😊
ОтветитьI would love the cheat sheet if it is still available!
ОтветитьAre use old books to for collaging and really it’s no one’s business want somebody uses for their art as long as they’re not hurting somebody.
ОтветитьI'd love a cheat sheet please. I'm just sorta getting started and so glad to have found your videos. Thank you! :)
ОтветитьThank you so much 😊. Would like to get the pdf of the hamburger ‼️😎
ОтветитьThank you so much Karen, I really really enjoyed watching you taking USA.l through the collage techniques. Found this very very interesting and useful too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
ОтветитьCould you send me the Hamburger system cheat sheet in PDF.Thank you. I just discover your work,I am very impressed. Thank you for your videos.
ОтветитьI'd love a Hamburger cheatsheet pls.
ОтветитьOMG you got Jamie there, life size! what a delightful distraction!! LOL
ОтветитьHi! Can I get a copy of your hamburger cheat sheet? Thx!!
ОтветитьIs that a Jamie mannequin?
ОтветитьThe only thing I don't think I'd use would be the sheet music... because I'd prefer to play it lol but I guess if it's missing a page or a really difficult song, I could see using it in my art. I love these ideas!!
ОтветитьI find things at antique stores. It’s a lot of fun. Sometimes once I get the items home, I can’t tear them up. Like some love letters a husband and wife wrote back during the war in the early 50’s. She was in Texas, and he was stationed in New York. They were so sweet. I live in Texas and wonder about their lives. Love your videos.
ОтветитьWhat a great idea! Sewing pattern paper! :) Old books are good too. the only old book I could never use would be an old bible. Have a collection of them - priceless. Maybe pictures from old children's books might be fun to try.
ОтветитьGreat explanations of the mediums! I am going to get the nerve up to try mixed media one day!
ОтветитьLove your energy and you!
ОтветитьI'd like a hamburger cheatsheet!
ОтветитьHey Karen- I’m super new to this. I do practically every craft known to man. I have ALOT of scrapbooking stuff and haven’t yet finished my daughters high school years ( she’s 32). But my main question is why collage? What’s the purpose in the end? Please don’t feel offended, I certainly don’t mean if that way. I just would love to start- but I need a reason as to why. Because of the fact that all my hobbies have a purpose I guess- and why start another if I don’t get to do the others- does this make sense?). Thank you and I love your down home personality.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. I'm just getting in to mixed media. I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing, but I like it. Right now, I'm using tea bags, old linen fabric, and my sewing machine. I do not know a thing about collage, especially what materials to use. So this was very helpful. I'll check out your other videos as well. BTW you are soooo talented!!
ОтветитьI would like a cheat sheet, hamburger sheet
ОтветитьYou are so creative, enjoyed watching this!♥️💯👍
ОтветитьI just found you and I desperately need your Hamburger info!! I want to try this!!
ОтветитьI would love to have a hamburger cheat sheet. I have never watched you before..
Thank you l
I would love the cheat sheet please.
ОтветитьAs a seamstress, using the extra pieces of the "tissue" pattern paper is ok, but using the pattern is sacrilege unless it is missing pieces. But great job. Informative video on reusing materials in mixed media.
ОтветитьAnd yes, I would love a cheat sheet. 😊
ОтветитьThank you so much for this. All of this has been so overwhelming and I have wanted this broken down so I can learn what all of this is used for and in what order. I’m so glad I found you and I will often look to you for instruction. ♥️
Ответитьhello could you please provide me a copy of your hamburger sheet. Thank you so much for this great video. I am new to mixed media and I am finding that this is something that I really love to do.
ОтветитьCan I please request the Mixed Media Hamburger System layering system cheatsheet? Thank you.
ОтветитьBeautiful! Absolutely beautiful! I think i found my next favorite channel!
Ответитьi have a bottle of liquitex matte medium but when i used over top of pieces, it leaves a fog over the project, i prefer a clear coat. so i guess i need to use mod podge only for top layer, right?
Ответитьfirst timer with you. Luv Luv you....please share your hamburger chart....thanks peggy
ОтветитьHi Karen! I am by no means an artist, but after doing cards and coloring stamped and digital images with markers and my first attempt at watercolor...I have been burned out. I have been watching mixed media, gel printing, junk and art journal videos. I need something to work 😩. I have been depressed, grieving the loss of my mother and health. Your special personality and love of what you do and teach is calling me! I want to thank you for sharing your talents! I would love a copy of any cheat sheets you may have (forgetfulness is my new found talent 🤔)
Thanks, Debbie
Please send cheat sheet. Thanks
ОтветитьIf you like it we will 💜
ОтветитьHi Karen Campbell, Great video, very helpful as I explore mixed media art. Yes, I'd love to receive your Mixed Media Hamburger Layer System. Thanks so much. Laura
ОтветитьI would like your hamburger layering cheat sheet.
ОтветитьYou are funny!♡ I'm also a mixed media artist. Subscribed. Cuz I just like you and I isolate in my studio and have no friends. You look like a being i want for a friend...I can't paint and meditate and do yoga ALL the time laughing. So ill break and watch you for new inspiration. Namaste'
ОтветитьHi! New to this but love it! I'd love the hamburger cheat sheet if you're still giving it out!
ОтветитьI can't draw (think a 3 year old drawing a bird) I have bins of things saved over the years for mixed media art, have acrylics, but NOW after finding you today I know how to approach creating art! Thank you. May I have a Hamburger Sheet, please?
