This is an overall confidence-builder in that the video is not shot by the person cutting their hair, but of the person cutting their hair, and the specific instructions are great. But I wish the person that demonstrated did not have such short, layered hair already. I really needed to see it done with long hair that has the layers all grown out to see how to cut a clean line when there is no visual from other layers to guide you.
ОтветитьHi there! I think you need to upgrade your videos because normally clients want a great style and experience. I'm a professional hair stylist for 24 year Taking classes from Vidal sassoon, redken, etc. Always training for the best benefit for the hair and lifestyle of my clients... I think it is totally wrong because they don't have the practice with the angle of the cut...
ОтветитьI just tried the layer cut at home technique you teach in this video and I love my hair! Easy to do!! Thank you!
ОтветитьI SEE! It's NOT a straight line. It's CURVED. I don't know if I can do it, but it explains why, when I've cut a straight line it was funky.
Gabi says to do this on soaking wet hair. But never tells the hair WILL be shorter when dry. I'll try dry first.
I cut my own front layers......too expensive for me to go to the hair dresser
ОтветитьYou are amazing 💚
ОтветитьJust bought the course and I am SO EXCITED that you offer this!! I became my own hair person during Covid and like many of us...ruined my hair by making every mistake possible and having zero clue what I was doing. Then my hair was falling out due to a medication I took for a year. Now...I am on the other side of that hellish nightmare and my hair is growing back. My hair journey will be simply growing it out and trimming it myself this year, allowing time to do the rest. I already feel relief from watching the first intro video. It will help confirm some of the stuff I learned the hard way. Thank you so much for being here. Happy 2024.
ОтветитьYou are great teacher... simple and easy to understand! 🙏
Ответитьthnx Justin!
ОтветитьI wish there were videos without words
ОтветитьThis guy is maybe knowledgeable but gives me a head ache
ОтветитьAmen .
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьGreat video- but any advice on where to start the layers? I'm guessing certain heights are better for certain face shapes. If there is already a video that talks about this, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!
ОтветитьLove your videos!
ОтветитьGreat! Thanks 👍🏼
ОтветитьSo please tell what is the difference between this and a wolf cut if you want layers? Because it seemed to me the wolf cut was easier
Ответитьwrong now her nose looks large...
Ответитьypu are such a good teacher. 😃
ОтветитьYou’re amazing. You’ve been so helpful to me and my sisters. Thanks
ОтветитьShowing the finished brushed out result at the end would have been nice.
We are left with her looking like she had a two step hair cut.
Long in the back and chin length in front of her ear.
I love that you’re teaching people how to give themselves some fresh looks at home. I figured out how to do this myself about 9 years ago, and it is easy. I watched how my hair stylist did my hair each time. She moved away, and I wasn’t stuck. 😃 This ability to do my own hair saves me so much on haircuts. 🤙🏽
ОтветитьHer hair did not look even to start with and it wasn’t even after cutting…😂
Ответитьlove your teaching do you thinking using thinning shears on wavy/curly hair a big no?
Ответитьwhat about the back and sides?
ОтветитьWow. Thanks for sticking it to your own industry.
ОтветитьHow do I as a blonde make sure that my mid to ends will be soft and silky feeling? What are the best products please! I need help. I usually use a hair oil with a leave in conditioner and a heat protectant, and still my hair feels fried I don’t know what to do….
ОтветитьWhy ?….
ОтветитьThis is such a great tutorial. I tried it and it definitely works. It's very easy to follow and I'm so happy with my results. Thank you 🙏🏻🥰💞👍🏻
ОтветитьEasy but effective tips
ОтветитьWould love video for cutting short stacked hair not above ear nape about 1/2”. Love your videos
ОтветитьSo where the result that you show in the title of the video ?
ОтветитьJust be aware if you have coarse, fine, wavy hair, this will look different.
Ответить😌I’m disaster doing my own hair 😫end up running 🏃♀️ to the hairdresser to get it fixed.🤭🤭
ОтветитьScrolled through searching for the layered blonde in the video cover and that’s not what’s in this video.
ОтветитьI remember when my older sister and her friend tried to give me layers when I was 12. I ended up with lamb chops! My mom was so mad. 😆
ОтветитьPlease, ladies, don't cut your own hair! Go to the salon, support small businesses, and treat yourself😊
ОтветитьI used to want like face framing hair but im looking at this angle & i do all the time think why…. Why is the hair right by our face shorter? And we encourage it to remain that way and leave the back real long - i dont understand. Now im obsessed w just having all one length looong healthy curly hair ❤
ОтветитьBeard = weird lol 😂
ОтветитьI always learn something when I watch your videos. Thank you.
ОтветитьCURLY FOLK DO NOT LISTEN TO HIM!!! flat ironing then cutting your hair is going to create the most uneven layered curls !!! Not all curls on the same head spring equal! 😵💫
ОтветитьLove this tutorial! Thank you
ОтветитьWhat if you NEVER part your hair? Just find ways to keep it back off your face?
ОтветитьGreat video, BUT I don't have a hair straightener iron and don't want to spend the $$ on one. Anything else I can do?
ОтветитьWhy in the hell are we teaching customers to cut there own hair ! Covid or not ? We will have to fix there mess and do ourselves out of a job ! You should be band ! Deleted off you tube !
Ответить"Take a section" How?? People.jjst breeze through this step and its not obvious. I cant get clean sections.
Ответить@justinhickox will this work for a shorter bob and shorter bangs, for example. A chin length bob with the bangs starting at about the top of the ear? Thank you!
Ответитьwhat a doll! Thank you.
ОтветитьI may have to try this… I have all of these tools already, because I’ve been cutting my son’s hair and my husband’s hair for years.
My son has so much coarse, thick, wavy hair, if I don’t thin it, he gets what looks like a giant brown helmet after just a couple weeks after cut. 😂
I've only been to the salon a few times in my life. I gave myself cuts and then about 15 years ago i flipped my head upside-down, brushed it all even and just cut across; and when i flipped my head back up i had a great cut and to my suprise also front layers. I've cut my hair that way ever since.
