Monetary policy by the government drives the market also.

The market decline period, July 16 - Aug 5, S&P 500 declined 7.3% while YMAX decline 17.2%. later period, Aug 30 - Sep 6 downturn, S&P 500 declined 4.3% and YMAX declined 5.8%. If there is a huge decline in the stock market, expect a worse decline with YMAX but it would be worse with single stock underlying YieldMax ETFs. But YMAX tracks very with the upturn of the market. Sep 6 - Dec 12, S&P 500 is up 12% and YMAX is up 10% plus you have your weekly dividends.

Great videos! YMAX is king, but it did take a hit this week for dividends. Hopefully next week looks better.

Click-baiting? "When" market crashes? Not "if"?

You are just talking the obvious. Thank you for your lack of targeted wisdom.

The payout is based on the volatility of the underlying single stock it covers.
The price of the Yieldmax etf doesn't effect the payout.

Gold stocks don't move why do you think the gold etf pays so low.

The dividends for Ymax is not correlated to the share price. The weekly distribution is based on the prior week's group payout.

Yieldmax has new funds coming out, so I wouldn't be getting out of YMAX.

Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments. Everyone should have BTC in their portfolio

Yield max funds work if and when you get all of your original money invested into the ETF’s back. Then you’ll be in the money. Trust me. it’s working great for me even with the Tsly reverse split. I’m in the money now. 😮 with the high yields it doesn’t take too long to get your money back. Less than 1 year to 3 years for most yield max funds.

TSLY holders are ready for the great rebirth of the YieldMax flagship ETF! After a tumultuous year of being a bag holder at $11.07, getting paid $.59 in November (an average reduction of over 30% for those on fixed incomes) and suffering through countless weeks of losing covered calls, we are ready! You banked $395 million from a sharp synthetic position (Well done!)--now it is time for redemption and our $3.95 payment. Jay? You gonna make this a year to remember?

Curious for an update to this. The correction has only just begun. Wait until the tariffs get enacted, holy hell. We are barely 1% off of all time highs. If the market corrects say 20%, thats at LEAST one reverse split on ymax. I get that half of 17 is 7.50, but they dont track the markets exactly. A sharp 10% correction could trigger a rs. These things are dangerous during anything but a bull market. YM will not decrease payments due to price, theyve proven that. They look at a rs as not a big deal. I sold all my holding today, roundhill defiance and YM. Gonna sit on cash. Got out at 915cst today and phwew am i glad on the timing.

I think we might see a crash in the beginning or middle of next year have to see how these tariffs and deportations going to go. Plus unemployment and inflation numbers came out better than expected

They have active traders, highly motivated to make $, they will put right strike prices on those calls even if market crashes.Payouts aren't directly correlated with stock price, that's a great thing. All those covered calls div ETF's are crashing on divs payout day and then slightly recover. It's an income not a capital growth ! Every Friday paycheck is safer than waiting all life to retire...Just keep buying those dips...lol
