ОтветитьI've had pain in my left Trap for years and being a side sleeper in a single bed, it was a problem being used to sleeping on that side. I'm claustrophobic so I turned my bed so that if I was on my left side I was facing the wall and that would stop me from sleeping. It took a few nights getting used sleeping on my right side facing away from the wall but it helped my Trap. I also stop my arm hanging in front or behind my body by slipping my arm down the waist band of my pj bottoms (or shorts in the Summer) to keep it in place along my body while I sleep. Works a treat.

ОтветитьWhen I sleep on my stomach i wedge a pillow under my right shoulder and have my right knee bent up beyond 90 degree angle. Very comfortable

ОтветитьI'm dealing with two beds shoulders the rights for the worse so I sleep on my left thank you for all the suggestions I actually do sleep like that with four pillows they're all stacked around my body to keep my shoulders from aching great video thank you so much what makes it even funnier is having back problems too so I'm trying to figure out how to sleep with your shoulders from being pinched and your lower back from hurting it's a challenge dammit man I worked hard all my life been doing pest control for 27 years and the backpack is killing me it sucks when everything hurts but it's better than the alternative I'll deal with pain
ОтветитьNot very helpful. Besides the audio has lots of echo because you filemed it in an empty room. Would have been better in a garden or park. Also you are talking very very fast so your audiences are American, Canadian, Australian, and Englishman who speak English as native language ; not for those who speak English as a second language. You are a doctor but you are not a good presenter. The tips you gave in this video are not better than given by any company selling pillows and beds in any stores in USA and Canada. I disliked your video as it is not for me.

I have three joint replacements and there's so much metal ,aluminum from the chemical trails,ect.

Last week a longhorn steer hit me across the shoulder and it hurts.
Is it safe to use a TENS unit with a shoulder replacement?

ОтветитьI hadn’t slept properly for over a week when my shoulder impingement got worse, but after watching this video last night, I slept so much better! I can’t sleep on my back and laying on either side was just too painful, so I tried the side-sleeping pillow positions and it was such a relief to the pain. I only woke up once in the night and I wasn’t in as much pain in the morning. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI couldnt lift my left arm past my chest now I can how did I do it u might ask, by sleeping on my belly arms tucked un der my pillow 😅 yeah the first few months I couldnt be in that position for more than 10s cause of the excruciating pain but now I can swing my arm up n down I still have a cluncking sound but im going to try your golf club stretches hope that helps anyone with shoulder pain

ОтветитьI was in absolutely excruciating pain a week ago after obviously a bad shoulder impingement sleep. Oh the pain. Still dealing with it so I'm looking forward to trying these tips. I think I was instinctively halfway there. You have refined it. Also just watched your exercises. This will help balance my office work and crocheting. I'm looking forward to seeing results as the lack of sleep as a narcoleptic is not good. Kia ora nui (much thanks from New Zealand)
Ответитьit's easier to wake up with shoulder pain than sleep with that many pillows, and yes everyone does move around. This video is not helpful.

ОтветитьI use a CPAP every night, and have for years, and still can't sleep on my back. I have a short, fat neck. I can try the left side with the pillows. Hopefully, it helps

ОтветитьI hate that I’ve been sleeping on my stomach all my life. Now in my mid 30s, to nobody’s surprise, I have severe shoulder & neck pains. But it’s so hard switching from something you find comfy but you KNOW is bad for you 😭 sometimes I switch to stomach sleeping in the middle of the night without even realising it 🥲
