epitome of what's bad about nascar is that throughout the years the safety/track insurance needed has gotten so much of a say in regulations that they've touched the watch ability of the sport too much not to say winning in current era nascar isn't hard but so many variables are out of the teams control that with so many drivers essentially just waiting for a minor mistake to pass when on any other track makes sense on the big ovals it doesn't really look like much taking away the wow factor imo
