Worst IGN Reviews Ever

It's funny, Days Gone is one of my favourite games of all time. But I only played it when it was free on PS+.

Death Stranding being a boring slog? Agreed.
Days Gone being dogshit? Agreed.
Pokémon Sword & Shield being among the worst in the series? Disagreed, sadly.
No-win scenario when it comes to sharing an opinion on TLoU2? Empirical fact, lol

The "payed off" analogy is true in a sense tho, there is no way IGN isnt payed by EA for their garbage madden and fifa copy paste games to be rated anything besides 1 or 2/10 every year, even the madden fanboyd admit the game is trash every year but only buy it cuz its the only title for real NFL license football

B03 is one of my favourite games growing up, i loved the zombies for me its a worthy grade

If it weren’t for DOOM 2016, we wouldn’t have gotten an amazing sequel. I’d rather play that than freaking Black Ops 3

He’s upset at the Gears 4 score but Gears 4 is actually pretty good

IGN and game review companies shouldn’t have the power to make thes horrible reviews and destroy a game series they did this with days gone and is now the reason why they haven’t made a sequel

Biggest problem is that they give games to people who don’t like the genre, and tell them to put a “definitive,” review. Get people who actually like the type of game their playing.

As a person who’s finished Days Gone I can tell you that a 6.5 is generous

Alien isolation came out in 2014 and i still saw video's being made on it in 2019. The game pioneered horror games for some time

I completely agree about the last of us 2, it could have been structured better. But it also suffers from what I like to call “Wamen powah” where it gets to a point when it’s just fucking ridiculous. Why would a pregnant woman go on fucking scavenging mission with an assault rifle when the human population is at an all time low??? The suspension of disbelief is shattered numerous times throughout the game because it’s so focused on “women can be badass too”. Yeah, I get it now… but why is that more important than telling a believable story?

Atleast someone has a fucking brain and tells it how it is: Death Stranding was and still is a miserable experience.

This game is outstanding I wish a sequel was in the pipeline.

the irony of pros being tons to unlock, where in warzone its having to unlock meta weapons cus u have to unlock 3 other guns before u can work on unlocking it XD

The problem with IGN is they are a company. They want to inflate scores on big games so that big companies will give them more games pre release to review.
The issue is also that they are never ever consistent with ratings. Sometimes they compare games only to other games of a series, other times it’s to the whole genre, and other times it’s to all games

Death Stranding was one of the biggest suprises and best games I ever played, and it really isn't for everyone. Esspecially NOT for STREAMING. It's for the individual to just sit in piece and quiet and enjoy the atmosphere.

Sword and shield was pretty good. Not a masterpiece but it definately doesn't deserve the lazy mainstream hate it gets. Solid game.

The Last of Us 2 had the same feeling of someone telling you a story and they keep jumping around and interrupting themselves. It should have opened with you playing as Abby and going through her whole motivation up until she kills Joel. Putting Joel's death at the beginning just felt like Naughty Dog saying, "Oh my god! Shocking! Look at how edgy we are!"

assassins creed odyssey is a good game, i will die on this hill. Only problem is that the new assassins creed games force you to do long side quests in order to meet required levels to progress.

Alien Isolation is IGN’s worst review

I hate the Alien Isolation review so much. Ryan McCaffery seems like a nice guy but I will always never forgive him for dropping the ball so much. I actually played Gears of War 4. It's honestly the weakest in the series...and No way better than Isolation

Why does he keep shitting on bo3, the zombies is probably the best part of any game since multiplayer in minecraft

Nah you can tell the Doom review was the most B's on the list because one of the pros listed was "boss battles" which is like the exact opposite of what Doom is and what it's strengths are.

Did anyone ever took IGN serious? I've never seen anyone talk about them in anyway besides making jokes or spitting on them.

Ive never played the older ones until after i played sword. And it is definitely Nostalgia that has everyone shitting on sword. Its a fun game.

I gave the last of us two and 8.5.
