to be clear, I KNOW that the pic of Oda I used isn’t even Oda lmaoo. when u look up ‘eiichiro oda’ on google that’s like the second pic that comes up for some reason, MY BAD
ОтветитьPrioritize the group, but respect the individual.
ОтветитьIm not japan but I really love drawing manga/comic i wish i can make it but don’t know where to begin since im broke as heck 😅
ОтветитьSomething from my favorite Mangaka, Yana Toboso, that really stuck with me was in Vol 28 of Black Butler she mentioned that she didnt own a bed. She works even more now than ever after that saying and it makes me quite depressed for her. But as an artist, I understand. Its a sad reality many of us artists would willingly do to reach an audience that is willing to listen. But I wish it didnt have to be this way.
ОтветитьI think about this every time I read Berserk
ОтветитьSeeing BLEACH anime comeback after 10 years made me happy for Tite Kubo although he got a lot of criticism through out that time by fan & other so called "anime" fan that never read or watch Bleach.
ОтветитьRespect to togashi, his health and mental health deteriorated so much during YYH yesterday he still went on and made HXH after some years. Although I am sad that togashi is always on hiatus, he doesn’t owe us shit. He can go play his games all he wants.
ОтветитьNow I’m regretting making a comic
ОтветитьThis is just deepened my respect to Oda, his manga always remains exciting and consistent even in 1000 chapters. That is why his 20+ years of work would be almost impossible to surpass by anyone, in terms of story and illustration. Even novel writers aint nothing to his craft when it comes to procedure, when all they have to do is type words to tell their story while manga authors have to also deal with the words along with drawing the story.
ОтветитьDont you how americans slaughter ever japanese word it comes out of their mouth.
Like dude learn to say it correctly, you have a japanese culture channel .
😂😂😂 stop saying naruto with or any other japanese with such an american accent, youre embarrassing yourself
An important lesson for mangaka, if you make a story, don't make it long until thousands of chapters, that's what makes many readers lazy to buy their works because it's too long, convoluted, and the story doesn't end.
ОтветитьThe hardest part is your manga have to be really famous for youbto earn a lot. Otherwise you'll struggle.
ОтветитьWell, drawing comics is HARD, I learned it from my own experience. That's why I never feel angry or upseat at manga artists even when the manga updates ones a month and the new chapter is, like, 10 pages long.
Im completely ok with that.
Actually some webcomics I used to read had like 4 new pages per month. Im used to waiting
This ain’t livin
Ответитьwhy are they making manga , if they have a story why cant they make it anime directly
ОтветитьCan’t that just make their manga assistant do it
ОтветитьI was trying to learn to make Manga or comic in my House. What should i do if i get a same fate as the other mangaka?
ОтветитьMy dream job is to be a mangaka or webtoon author. I knew it’d be hard but this is just insane, i can draw quite quickly and get accurate proportions and shade without using structure, but it’s seriously mind blowing considering the amount of work put into official manga. If i do ever make it into the manga industry i’m either going to release every two weeks or monthly.
ОтветитьThis is why whenever I read a manga I just take a moment to appreciate the art style.
ОтветитьI am working on my own manga, I did the first chapter of 20 pages in 9 days, it was horrible, but I enjoyed it at the same time, I decided I'll take my time with it because it's unhealthy and it's not popular yet anyways so I'll only draw when I have free time like after workouts and in the morning, and mostly on weekends, it is pretty exhausting but giving up is not an option
Ответитьalso regardless of this i'm still dedicating most of my time to drawing and making manga
ОтветитьI was encouraged to make my own manga (*'ω'*)
ОтветитьConsider this: Japan is the ONLY country in the world that can do Japanese style anime/manga. It's like a national treasure. How the Japanese government hasn't exact powerful labor laws to protect Anime/Manga Artists is beyond me. I'm not sure if the Japanese government realizes just how ridiculously popular anime/manga are OUTSIDE of Japan!
ОтветитьAs an artist I can understand their pain like my friend told me to draw split drawing of rengoku and akaza and it should be detailed and it took me like 2 hours and 30 minutes just for that drawing without a break so then my back started paining.
Ответитьthese japanese are trying to work themselves to death, in any industry.. they could at least make it bi-weekly to give them more time to rest.. jesus christ.. american comics have a whole dam month and a whole team.. the culture doesn't give a dam about health.. how do they even have time to watch things to inspire them or learn new things, or even read other manga
ОтветитьThen why the hell does Araki look so young? 🙃
ОтветитьBro really tried to destroy self esteem and self confidence of authors in this vid by telling them this statement 💀💀💀💀💀💀
ОтветитьThat's not oda
ОтветитьAnd so when they do finish the manga series- like M Kishimoto. Ehat happens next? Did Kishimoto wanted to continue the series with Boruto? He hired a writer and artist - his assistants I guess. And he became a supervisor. When his Samurai manga sadly flop because of low ratings he came back with writing Boruto. Even the Samurai manga wasnt draw by him only written and supervised. Just shows that making a manga is a really though business. Kishimoto isnt the only one. The guy that did Fairy Tail gave the drawing duties to his assistant. Same for Toriyama. Oda will surely give his pen to another one when hes done with Onepiece.
Im not surprise Kubo doesnt the same thing with Bleach.
This video makes me realize even more that you have to dedicate your entire life into this. Wow. If only we had a power that can give some of our energy and send it to the people so when they accept, it can help them.
ОтветитьAnd the tpn fandom is mad the author probably took care of themselves 😒 such idiots.
ОтветитьIm 14 and so I can not be dealing with this kind of stress so what im doing is first I draw out every single page, Most authors might do this:
Draw, post
Draw, post
Meanwhile what im doing:
Draw
Draw
Draw
Post.
Sorry this hard to explain, im terrible at explaining things and i blame my animea 😂
I love manga but I can never handle this kind of life: overworking, very little breaks, etc.. It feels so stressful. I look at Togashi, Horikoshi, Akutami and can't help but feel sorry for how much blood and tears they shed every week to get a chapter in.
ОтветитьThey should change their Format to how comic books are made it would make the artists life better and make the manga look even better
ОтветитьMany people honesty took mangakas for granted. Seeing this sheds lights to the dark side of being a mangaka.
ОтветитьBut what about blackanime like boondocks? Our work schedule is less hectic 😅😂and pays slightly better!👑They should do like eddie murphy and "come*(*Coming) to America" when they save up enough money and use social media for a job 😎 interview.. and you good!🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡🍡
Ответитьso they are like kamikazes?
ОтветитьGive these people credit. They give us Manga and Anime every day by working and pushing themselves as hard as they can. Respect.
ОтветитьI'm so sorry for the mangakas for reading at illegal sites y'all legends.😭
ОтветитьI watched Zom 100 and I know its not reality but Japan has problems similar to that, working like a slave just for yen which if you think about isn't alot if compared to America's currency, I know it runs different country to country but its just so dahm wrong and disgusting that they work so hard for barely anything. And this is also the same for the children in schools. Its horrible.
ОтветитьYou used a picture of Eiji Aonuma of Nintendo, not Eiichiro Oda 😅
Ironically this further illustrates the point how "behind the scenes these Mangaka are.
Im an artist, more a musician but im learning to draw and hope to write my own story one day! I think this is the reality for everyone who does art/music. we are the few people that actually dream and unfortunately that means there are a few sacrifices to be made. Everyone in arts, manga, anime, music, what ever! dont give up and keep dreaming!!!
ОтветитьI’m working on my own manga(it’s a webtoon) and it’s very straining.
ОтветитьI sleep for more than ten hours and have endless rest. I wish I had a passion like them. I see that work is medicine and that rest is real fatigue. Days pass and nothing changes.😰😰
Ответитьforever grateful .
ОтветитьAround the time she was creating the Swordsmith Village arc, Demon Slayer's mangaka had family issues come up, but wasn't given a break. She ended up ending the series early. Thankfully, we have the databooks, but everytime I hear someone say Demon Slayer's writing is trash / it sucks / etc, I remember the little note she put at the beginning of the very first volume, about how excited she was that her work had gotten published.
ОтветитьI think overworking is a problem in Japan in every field.meanwhile streamers in the west play games all day and make bank . I think Japan needs some heavy reforms as they don't value quality of life much.
ОтветитьThank u for uploading this video. It really makes me realize how clueless I really am. Now every time I’ll read a manga I’ll think of how hard the author worked on it, even if the manga sucks.
ОтветитьI'm currently creating my own manga project and even on a small scale this is so true! Mangaka work very hard to create the content we enjoy, it's important to be grateful for these wonderful people and support them when you can <3
