Why couldn't she shoot me the face with the fine mist one instead of the laser death beam one? NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT THE FINE MIST!
ОтветитьLogically, if her husband was sprayed with the water that means afterwards he went and got blended.
ОтветитьJust use oils instead.
ОтветитьThanks. Flow Medium in the mist bottle may work even better. The Flow Medium will have the binder in it.
ОтветитьI'm not going to show my wife this so she doesn't get any ideas!😜
ОтветитьI've never heard of this technique before. Genius idea, thank you!
ОтветитьAmazing tip! What blending fluffy brush did you used? Any tips for finding the right one? 😊
ОтветитьCan you imagine saying “disciplining your wife” in a video? Yeah wouldn’t go over so well.
ОтветитьI would LOVE for you to try heritage multimedia paint, its acrylic that preforms exactly like oil (still a shorter dry time) uses food grade propylene glycol as an extender medium and is so pleasantly pigmented
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks
Ответить❤Love your humor along with your helpful tips. Wish I would have watched this before I re painted (over and over) the mist/fog in my last painting. P.S. You can discipline me any time 🤣
ОтветитьI like your sarcasm
ОтветитьOmg 😅😅 ok you got my subscription not only u just gave me a very valuable tool but got me explode in laugher with your sprayer lmaooo great work 👌🏼
ОтветитьThanks for the tip ! I am an oil painter and are trying to do acrylics because it's easier to take with me on vacation. But it's such a frustration ! It doesn't blend like I would like t. if I have to stop for a moment and I come back, the paint on my palet is almost dry. I never can't find the mix for a colour I want : I end up with a huge mop of paint and I still don't find the colour I wanted. With oils I don't have that problem. Ugh...With oils you can go for a light colour on top of a dark colour. You can't in acrylics, the dark colour always shines through, no matter how many layers you put on top of it. I am a non-talented but passionate oil painter, and I made some neat paintings but for now I am a disaster in acrylics.
ОтветитьHaha that’s mean to do to a husband 😂
ОтветитьWhere can you buy the mister ?
Ответитьi thought that we shouldn't use water to thin out acrylic paint because it lifts the pigment and it has less to stick to when it's on the canvas so it may flake off when it's dry. Unless im wrong and mixing a little water with it is fine ?
ОтветитьThere’s also the need for ventilation and tougher clean up for oils. I was taught to paint in oils years ago but I have used acrylics nearly exclusively for decades now. I actually enjoyed using a dry brush technique with oils because I like a lot of texture, but the reason I use acrylics is because I can do mixed media and experimental water techniques, photo transfers and more that I can’t do with oils. Granted, my work combines drawing techniques, sometimes integrates collage, and doesn’t rely on an overly “painterly” look. I have become accustomed to working in layers in acrylics but the slow drying time was one of the things I liked most and miss about oils. I do use a variety of mediums to get different effects and high quality paint, like Golden or Charvin and acrylics have improved much over the years.
ОтветитьLoved this video!! Learned a lot and you are an entertaining teacher!!! ❤
ОтветитьWouldn't have thought of a mister. Good idea👍
Ответить😂😂😂 I thought I was going to watch an art video but it ended up being about disciplining your husband 😂😂😂 Brilliant and can your husband actually still see??? 😂 great art too 😄💖
ОтветитьI adore your sense of humor. I got a fine mist bottle and now have improved paintings and husband😉
ОтветитьGreat tips...I about spit my coffee on my canvas laughing hubby got the spray bottle 😂😅
ОтветитьLaughing my (sorry) F ing face off.!!! His reaction was priceless:)
ОтветитьI wish I could keep hitting the like button over and over again. I have watched this video again and again. I have also used the fine mist sprayer now for years thanks to your wonderful video. Thank you.
ОтветитьThere are some really really good ideas here, thank you! I enjoy acrylics but you do need to use water to control the texture, and getting the amount right is tricky. This misting idea is excellent.
ОтветитьPoor man!
ОтветитьI just started painting in January. I took a Bob Ross class for a week in FL. I'm 30 paintings into my new Hobby/ career (lol) It's been 99% oil with just a little acrylic underpainting. I'd like to do mixed media using acrylic to better blend colors like yellow and blue in the sky so I don't get green. Any tips on this?
ОтветитьYour husband is such a good sport! Tell him thank you for the awesome humorous elements! Seriously, these types are game changers! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьAs soon as you sprayed your husband I immediately subscribed, love the tips also 👌🏻
ОтветитьGreat tips, thank you so much!
ОтветитьThis is essentially an acrylic version of how Bob Ross paints :) great advice
