It would be great if you could make a new video on this technique. I can't seem to find any of the same information recreate this in the newer applications.
ОтветитьVery nice, Thank you! ^^
Ответитьwhen I use the pencil tool at 1 px I am not getting the results you are. I don't know what I am doing wrong
ОтветитьI believe there is an option to create weave pattern like Twill weave in Illustrator itself & apply on stripes to create the twill effect. In thar case, kindly explain that technique too
ОтветитьI've a doubt? Just like we do in Photoshop can we do this in illustrator? Because I've been trying for long, but I'm not getting it :(
Can you help me out?
Really awesome! But if you use a smart object and build a mask using your twill pattern you can speed things along when it comes to changes.
ОтветитьThis is awesome! Thank you!! Saved me some serious head ache time!!
ОтветитьVery good info!

ОтветитьDo you have any tips to change the size of the plaid when you fill in illustrator? Thanks!

ОтветитьHi, can we use smart object? So when the Ai file is updated, the rest will be updated as well?
ОтветитьOh my God Heidi you are a genius - thanks so much for this!!!!
ОтветитьI'm following along and every time I create the twill overlay, It's extremely fine. It does not look like yours on screen.
ОтветитьCould you please define the size of the file you start with. I created the warp and weft in Illustrator but would like to know what size file you start with when you paste the shapes into Photoshop. Thanks : )!
ОтветитьThis is fantastic! Thank you, I've been looking for a week now to find out how to make those twill patterns on the plaid.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial. What were the dimensions for your warp and weft layers in PS?
ОтветитьThank you! What would you suggest I do if I wanted to make the twill pattern a little pronounced or bigger? I'm designing a label and want to be sure people can see it.
ОтветитьCan you also show how to do the twill weave on AI?
