Twill Plaid Patterns in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

It would be great if you could make a new video on this technique. I can't seem to find any of the same information recreate this in the newer applications.

when I use the pencil tool at 1 px I am not getting the results you are. I don't know what I am doing wrong

I believe there is an option to create weave pattern like Twill weave in Illustrator itself & apply on stripes to create the twill effect. In thar case, kindly explain that technique too

I've a doubt? Just like we do in Photoshop can we do this in illustrator? Because I've been trying for long, but I'm not getting it :(

I'm following along and every time I create the twill overlay, It's extremely fine. It does not look like yours on screen.

Could you please define the size of the file you start with. I created the warp and weft in Illustrator but would like to know what size file you start with when you paste the shapes into Photoshop. Thanks : )!
