When Putin said he was calling up 300,000 troops I thought he had the troops to send. I couldn't imagine being a 30 year old with a wife and kids, a good job and be told that I had to be drafted into the military. These guys ae just leaving everything behind and will never return.

September 26, 2022 in Russia security forces broke into the apartment of anti-defense activist and poet Artyom Kamardin because of reading poetry against the war. The security forces laid him on the floor, beat him and raped him with dumbbells. The security forces threatened to rape Artyom's girlfriend, who was in his apartment. Then the security forces forced Artyom to give up his anti-war poems on camera. And then they took him into custody with a concussion, without medical assistance.
