You should try Ultra Custom Night! It's a UCN fangame with 745 total characters, and it has a story based mode, a shop, more offices and challenges, and pretty much every version of a character that exists.

I’m not sure if the updates to the game fixes the game but an actual challenge you could do with this game is no death. So you have to start from night 1 if you die at any point of the game. But watching this, I think you would rather die than do this again.

if u play cuphead again, do something i call the bad memories challenge, where you just beat a boss with a challenge you hated doing the boss on,and if you die once you lose.

This entire video just shows the true power of patience and persistence combined to beat a game that fuck's you in every single millisecond

Idk if you call it out but in the purple guy minigame it's entirely rng based too..like wtf. If you're too far ahead of him he'll speed up and likely catch you, once you go down the ladder there's a high chance he'll tp to you and kill you (like srs, why??)..why on earth would the dev make even the 8BIT MINIGAME rng to win??

If I remember correctly the dev's first language isn't english, so that's part of the writing issues...but even then why is it so long?? There's so much extra wording, not enough wording in some areas, and things just entirely missing..they could of tried to get someone to write the tutorials for them that knew english better.
But what I cannot excuse is apparently even the 2 playtesters struggled and didn't finish the game..yet the dev didn't change it to make it easier. It wasn't intended to be hard but they didn't listen to the play testers at all! You cannot be a dev and make good games if you hire play testers just to ignore their complaints entirely, at that point why have play testers at all??
I think the graphics are very nice, and the sound design, some of the mechanics are also great! It just is too big of a game, too much stuff in it and poorly explained, the head bobbing is also too much when you have to do so much moving between rooms..is our character drunk or something? They sure are wobbling like a drunk guy walking lol. Balancing is also a tricky thing, but it's something you have to work on for a game! Things like rng have to be balanced..this game does that poorly making it pure luck if you win or not

This game looks really great, shame that they made it so incredibly difficult to understand. I don't think many people like to remember 50 different things about each character.
Also the camera having so much head bob is really annoying, just make it something very small like in a shooter game, it's more realistic as well

I cant even imagine how many hours it took to complete the game, let alone every bonus objective. Night 6 is torture.

On night six, Subject 1 Freddy is just really embarrassed because you keep reminding him he can only count to four.

Watched this and prepatch looks just as painful as I expected

I think it'd be nice if this were rebalanced completely in a way. Specifically for part A; smaller map, less rooms and faster animations to get to the locations. Make it so every animatronic is susceptible to the drone, but give it a cooldown to make up for it. Give animatronics a longer kill time for new players so they can mess up and still have a chance to come back from it. Finally, make the tutorials state exactly how mechanics are seen in short descriptions instead of writing complicated paragraphs and boom, Part A is (I think) partway rebalanced.
