Thank you so much for making LABS, they’re fantastic. The only criticism I’d have is that I Wish they were NKS ready out of the box. As a blind musician the only way I can access LABS is through a set of third party NKS presets, used with my Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol Keyboards.

Hi Christian I know the VLOG was about six month's ago, but today I finished a film track about Switzerland. I can not thank you enough and all the musicians on LABS to use some of the instruments in my composition and film. Nothing more then respect to you guys out there at Spitifre and the community to bring out these amazing sampled instruments. You are a simply awesome human being

I think that several questions that you refer to in this video motivate reflections in several ways. However, in order not to be too extensive here, just say that I consider the decisions about LABS 2.0 very accurate, for the reasons that you explain yourself. I suppose that for many people, with successful professional careers none of this is a problem and they can acquire whatever they want; but it is very sincerely grateful that you and your people in Spitfire Audio keep in mind that there are also many people who make great efforts to access the musical tools of today. I was able to access Albion ONE myself thanks to a special offer that was a few months ago, otherwise it would have been impossible. I do not know if it is a correct vision or not from the point of view of your company, but the great reception of LABS 2.0 by so many people, shows that libraries of low or medium cost, not so detailed or deep but with the character that you print to everything you do, without having to depend on external software, would be like rainwater for many people, me among them. Thanks for everything!

Question about the Amplified Cello library - why is it that the rhythmic patterns from when you showed the samples originally (orchestrated by I believe you said Ben Foskett) didn't make it onto the LABS release of the library?

Great work guys. Is there any scope for releasing Labs as an iPad audio unit plugin? That would be amazing and would take it to a whole new audience of creators

Too bad I have an interet-free system so I cannot get Spitfire libraries as long as NI does not offer a dongle solution along with the NI-Access thingy.

Hey Chris, I'm a hobby producer and LABS has made me dabble in the simple and the surreal through working on projects solely with the LABS plugin and choice FX. It is a thrill everytime i make something and I think no way that came free.

Thank you so much to you and the other guys at Spitfire! The strings are probably my most used Labs library, in fact I've just been nominated for my first award for a score in which I only used Labs strings!!!

LABS is such a great bonus for us Spitfire customers (and everyone)! I have to say that I use the drums consistently. They are so real and neutral. I am a drummer, and I could play on everything I write, but the LABS drums sound like the best product I could possibly get in my little bedroom studio (with a ton more work); so when I am up against a deadline, they are a lifesaver! The monthly LABS offering is such a cool thing to look forward to. Thanks to you and Paul for all-around great products.

LABS is probably one of the highest quality and best free libraries out in the world. I hope you guys can bring it over to AUV3 on iOS one day! 🙏🏾

The old Labs had the advantage of being open for editing - of the samples themselves, the settings of the kontakt engine, adding dynamic modulation, filtering, weird and interesting scripts and so on. With new Labs you're limited to post processing, as the engine is limited, and the samples are hidden within containers. Which is fine, those are great sounds, but I always appreciate the options of making things a little bit more my own.

Soft Piano is the sonic version of sketching with oil pastels or charcoal - it's my starting point for almost everything I'm making for my own satisfaction.

I remember when James Rhodes did a campaign to get people to give away unused instruments to a more deserving cause. I suppose this is the virtual instrument equivalent. Although Piano book is just as valid for this comparison. Thanks for the efforts.
