I'm going to echo comments about remembering my grandmother. My favorite time was going through the Christmas catalogs and picking out stocking stuffers. Loved their flavored chapsticks and tiny roll-on perfumes. ❤

I'm too young to have any Avon memories, and my grandmothers didn't have any of their products, but your video was very soothing! I have trouble speaking to people so when I can put myself in a little scenario where someone is talking to me but I don't need to respond, I'm noticing that I find it very relaxing. Im a 90s kid... but i remember the avon lady who came every month. She was a tiny little older woman, always wore a beautiful traditional sari and a red bindi with sparkling white nike sneakers because she walked her entire avon route and carried a giant bag. She smelled like spices and was always kind to us kids. My mom bought every anti wrinkle aging cream they ever made.

My grandma was an Avon lady before my time. She loved perfumes but also wore some cologne. She just didn't see the point in gendered scents and I love that for her. She wore what she wanted and what smelled nice. Auburn hair that was curled each night and pinned back with bobby pins. Lip stick. She was so beautiful.

I could watch that clip of her slowly and painstakingly opening that big crinkly bag on a loop. That just hits so many triggers at once 😴
