"I'd much rather you eat real food and get your Omega3s..." “Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food” A true doctor, you are Sir.
ОтветитьDr berry I'm 56 and I have peripheral neuropathy but I'm not sure exactly where it's from. I had problems with sugar in the past but I'm doing well now and I fast all week long. I also practice keto. I also been diagnosed with two herniated disc and foraminal narrowing. I noticed you haven't mentioned anything about the foraminal narrowing or back issues. I drive a tractor trailer and my neuropathy is worse when I'm bouncing up and down in my truck but when I get out and walk around and feel so much better so I am not sure where I really get it from.
ОтветитьI drank a lot had prediabetic gave up beer, got my aic down to 5.0 but still have pain and numbness.
ОтветитьDr Berry is beyond the best human ever. I have been doing carnivore for 3 months and have never felt better. You are so appreaciated. Thank you for all you do.
ОтветитьNo one has ever put together. That is the clues for me like 10 years of the pain in my feet and now an RA diagnosis connection?
ОтветитьDoc Did you say years of drinking being the cause is rare?
ОтветитьDr Berry what do you do if ESR and CRP is raised?
ОтветитьAlpha lipoic acid helps me
ОтветитьHi Dr Berry
Ответитьu talk too much but not on the direct ca<ses and their cures
ОтветитьHow many people can fast for 20 hours a day? Is that everyday? That seems a bit unreasonable I think it can set a person up for failure in the first 48 hours. I also wonder about the carnivore diet being the best for all around health.? There are so many foods that would create a more balanced approach to help heal don’t you think? Thanks
Ответитьi try to explain some of this to wife and others . but alot of them have high doubts because i get info from u and others here on u tube . i hear u and Dr Jason Fung . and many others , that r doctors , i tell them i can find they r and have phyiscal addresses . I THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. BERRY.
Ответитьthank you 4 this great super info. i have been taking . b12 about 10.000mcg and b1 and b3 and b7 and vita .. p5p . and all the tingle and shooting needle and pains . most of nearly all gone
ОтветитьAlthough I still have pretty significant peripheral neuropathy, it became *off the chart* severe approximately 2 weeks after being on a statin! OMG! It was constant & all-consuming! I slowly returned to my baseline when I stopped the Rx. I will never, ever, ever go near a statin ever again. Wishing better days for everyone who suffers with it. I had no idea it could be so severe. 😢
ОтветитьThank you doctor Berry
ОтветитьMy peripheral neuropathy is ruining my life. I have been to neurologists and I’ve had extensive testing and nobody has found an answer. I was diagnosed with CLL sixteen years ago and have had three courses of chemo. Can the CLL be the cause of the peripheral neuropathy??
ОтветитьDoes statins cause neuropathy, in a few cases?
ОтветитьWhat about spinal issues? I have cervical and lumbar.
ОтветитьIncreasing my salt has helped my neuropathy! I got neuropathy out of the blue and got my blood tested. I had low sodium and low anion gap. I got sent to the Physical therapist but it didn't help. I upped my sodium just because the low sodium scared me, and my neuropathy is so much better it is almost gone. Sodium had something to do with my issue.
ОтветитьQuestion for anyone: if I experienced this in my toes, but nowhere else, is this what I have? Or, does it affect multiple areas every time? I don't want to go through all the tests, if I don't have to. Thanks for any help you can lend.
ОтветитьMy husband had been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy several years a go. To my knowledge none of the tests you mentioned have been requested by his doctor. He also does not have numbness tingling or pain.
ОтветитьI'm keto for 3 weeks and symptoms still worsening. Guess it's not diet related (started after i broke my wrist). I'll keep at it though, thanks for the video
ОтветитьHello Dr. Berry! My wife started having problems with peripheral neuropathy a few years ago after becoming pre-menopausal. Is there a link between the reduction in hormone levels due to menopause and PN?
ОтветитьI went on keto and in about 7-8 months I got restored feeling in the soles of my feet. After 2 years I got feeling back in my toes. I don't stumble or bumble around put a death grip on hand railings and stare at my feet on steps. What seemed to get my toe feeling back was when I started taking acetyl l-carnitine. When taking it the tingling in my feet got very intense and after a few days I could feel me toes again. I may have gotten it before the nerve damage was irreversible but no way to know. The key to me was getting energy into the cells so they could heal. Ketones can do this and acetyl l-carnitine helps your cells use fat for energy so it made sense to try and it worked.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWhat about injury to the body? Surgery can cause serious nerve damage as the knife cuts through your nerves, especially if you have surgery more then once in the same area as in my case. My maiden surname name was Berry. I retired as a nurse. We could be related . 😊
ОтветитьThe pills for kemo didnt work at all
ОтветитьMy wife has it bad and i rub voltrane at night when she gets home from work and if I don't rub her feet she can hardly walk. Stuff is amazing. I know its past
ОтветитьMy doctor did some basic blood work and told me we'd probably never know what caused it and sent me home. UPMC doctors do not care for their patients.
ОтветитьGet to the point! Is about numbness in your feet ?don’t have time to listen any more!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
ОтветитьCan the metal in knee replacements leach into the surrounding tissue, nerves and blood vessels
ОтветитьWhat about trying,
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid.
That is touted as HEALING nerves. We produce that in our body but some are suggesting it isn't enough and this supplement helps repair nerves.
OxyContin 😂
Ответить¥a×xines and contrast dye
.caused this for me. Heavy metals.
I am diabetic type 2 but I run out of blood sugar and have to eat something sweet My Neuropathy is in my feet and legs I get electric shocks I have a sound in my head all the time I heard the Covid virus attacks the Pineal Gland which controls the electrical system of the body I am Unvaccinated and will be staying that way I was taking Medication it made it worse so now take none I noticed when on Holiday in Italy during July my Neuropathy was not as bad The Italian Food really agreed with me Might be the olive oil I take olive oil now in food all the time Alachol really makes it worse Regards David
ОтветитьLower leg edema greatly contributes to peripheral neuropathy; Edema is significantly increased by excess sodium/salt as well as refined carbs/sugars. I cannot believe you're actually telling people sodium intake isn't an issue with this condition! It's the first thing we try to regulate with these patients! WOW!
ОтветитьThank you Doctor. My peripheral neuropathy started around May 2023 - do not know why. I do not have diabetes - may be the inflammation (I do have osteoarthritis - since my 30s - I am now 77). I do have stents (2 in left leg, 1 in right leg, triple A (all done several years ago) & June 9th, 2023 I just had a stent put in for the artery feeding the small intestines in order to get nutrients into my system again because I lost a lot of weight (from 126 down to 90 lbs. in a 2 year period). Yes, I am taking more B Vitamins including B1 & B12, C. D3, R Alpha-Lipoic acid, multivitamins, K2, Benfotiamine, Magnesium. I even make a concoction of: water, turmeric. black pepper, nutritional yeast, extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, a dash of cayenne pepper lemon juice, honey, 2 cut apples w/skin, chia & flax seeds and cinnamon - all put in a blender. I drink a cup once a day (refrigerate the rest for the following days). I know it takes a long time for nerves to heal - I just hope these will work over time. I also drink green, oolong, rooibos, hibiscus, black, ginger & chamomile teas. I eat sardines, salmon (red when I can afford it , otherwise pink), tuna, blueberries (try to daily), spinach, broccoli, poached eggs, Honey in my morning coffee instead of sugar. Judi
ОтветитьGreat video thank you doc😁👍
ОтветитьCan strokes cause neuropathy?
ОтветитьHow do you fast if your an diabetic.
ОтветитьMSM is helping me right now - but I started with LCHF and take supplements - but MSM is changing my whole being...
ОтветитьSuggest me medicine for Peripheral neuropathy
ОтветитьIt does work how how ever since I'm a body builder and powerlifter the low carb is hard to accomplish I still eat my grains but just make sure it's not enriched wheat flour
ОтветитьMy cousin my age 55 had PN and was taking neurontin and lyrica for symptom management. DM 2 out of control. Drank ETOH. Ate 💩 often. His dad recently died of lung Cancer. Huge $ issues. No faith in Jesus .
Ended his life recently with a 50cal DE.
I get them suicidal feelings from neuropathy
ОтветитьThank you for the information. I had endometrial cancer that spread and then received radiation treatment. The pain in my legs is horrible. Getting a MRI in two weeks. But I am going to request some of these blood test as well. Thanks again.
ОтветитьI have multiple on both list
ОтветитьWHAT CAN BE SAID OF FROZEN SHOULDERS ???
ОтветитьI have peripheral neuropathy in both my feet which is very bad and it's been going on for five years. I've seen a host of doctors, had four back surgeries and nothing has helped. I don't think I can believe what you say regarding 90% healing or even reversing/healing PN. I just want to go to sleep one night and not wake up. Sigh.
