In 2014, on a family trip to DC, I discovered my then wife was having an affair during the entire marriage. I was devastated, beyond grief and sadly suicidal. My life was over, as i knew it, and jumping in front of a semi seemed logical. But at that time, GOD decided to carry me, little did I know.
Fast forward 6 years, in mid 2020, I had a heart to heart with my Father, and asked Him to bless me with the woman i deserve or bring me home to Him. I met my now wife, September 11th, 2020, and asked her to marry me on Thanksgiving that year. We married a year later on her late dads birthday and my moms birthday. I know now that God always has a plan for us, and the journey might look ugly, but with faith in Him, that plan He has always comes to life. My hope was His plan! Thank you for this song, Shania! It got me thru the difficulty of life.
