What an amazing piece of craftsmanship I seen one of them in 1993 in Cheyenne Wyoming it was one of the coolest things I've seen in my entire lifetime
ОтветитьHey how fast is he going
Ответитьthis was and still is a mechanical marvel but think no electronics of any kind no comp not even an electric drill .this was built with what mexicans call gonus the burning desire .the driving force to build it was they wanted to
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful machine.
ОтветитьWhy all the smoke? I know it really brings back the way BB used to run on coal. But this is an oil burning conversion. Lean it out, raise the temperature and pressure and hammer down!
ОтветитьNotice the slight slippage? Drive wheels I expect to be same size but one set going slightly out of phase to other. Any thoughts?
ОтветитьAwesome.
ОтветитьPerfect sound. Thanks for the video.
Ответить🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьWhat a monster of a locomotive. But, she's beautiful monster. Great videography.
Ответитьwonderful!
Ответитьfantastic
ОтветитьGET THAT DIESEL ELECTRIC off the there. Do you idiots really think that 4014 can't do it alone? That old girl will drag your diesel electric ass BACKWARDS from coast to coast.
ОтветитьMy dad said tbese things could do 90 mph without a sweat, and if the accelerated it to fast it woulf spin the wheels , not good for it though
ОтветитьIt's alive I tell ya... Alive....
ОтветитьNo sabia que todavía funcionan ésas maquinas
ОтветитьEsta bueno me gusta
ОтветитьI'm gonna huff and puff and tow your heavy train away at high speed
ОтветитьDoes anybody know if the front and rear of piston/wheel sets are "geared" the same? it seemed like the front pistons had a slightly faster stroke than the rears. Since the wheel diameters are the same, it would have to be a different offset for the main drive rods (not sure the correct term).
ОтветитьWhat did Big Boy get up to, mph wise?
ОтветитьSpeed?
ОтветитьReal engineering. Done by men.
ОтветитьPicture perfect setting. Mesmerising to watch the MW being harnessed to the driving wheels via those enormous conrods
ОтветитьVery well recorded video. You not only kept perfect pace with the train and kept it in view at all times, and not only did not have a shaky camera... But you have it output in 4k (Maybe you downsampled from something higher, it's just extremely stable), and you filmed at a high shutter speed because I'm not seeing a lot of motion blur. The high frame rates almost make it seem like a video game, I'm too used to low quality video having too much motion blur.
ОтветитьBeautiful! As an old mechanic this gives me goosebumps!
ОтветитьI never thought this would happen.......
ОтветитьCG video😕
ОтветитьI saw this BB when it was taken from the Pomona fairgrounds in ca and spent a week on display at the San Bernardino train yard before going to Cheyenne to be restored. It’s massive
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful take. The hero of them all. Thanks to every person, for there dedication, year after year, day after day, to save, what is more than history.!!
ОтветитьI was lucky enough to be standing by the tracks when 4014 stopped in Illinois to take on water and get some photos. It looks big in videos but it can't do justice to just how massive this locomotive is in person. Miracle from the age when men built giants.
ОтветитьMantep banget om kereta api
ОтветитьThat looks faster than 40mph
ОтветитьBig shout out to the driver and camera and the straight roads did not notice any bumps or pot holes if this had been in England you would need a motocross rider
ОтветитьTo sit down with pen and paper and this is the end product unbelievable 🇬🇧👌
ОтветитьAmazing 👏 🇬🇧👌
Ответитьとても60年前に引退したものには見えないですね4884の軸配置、これだけなければ山越えはで来なかっのでしょうか。
ОтветитьEffin' Gnarley!!
ОтветитьЭтот паровоз может самостоятельно без какой нибудь помощи сам тянуть маленький грузовой или пассажирский состав?
ОтветитьRollin coal
ОтветитьSize matters!
ОтветитьPure American muscle. Its crazy to think how powerful big boys are, they were hauling freight on their own at the same length todays trains are.
ОтветитьThis is real Train, everything is manually, big beauty. Build for no electronics. And it comes from hundred years ago...amazing
ОтветитьTake that tesla
ОтветитьSo powerfull and so quiet compare to today's diesel engine train. Love it, nice video
ОтветитьI marvel at the people who can drive by at highway speed in the opposite direction without the slightest bit of curiosity.
ОтветитьWhat a beauty!
Ответитьsexyyyyyyy !!!!!!!!!!! awesome !!! beautiful!!!!
ОтветитьOne of the best train run videos ever! Perfect pacing of the engine throughout.
Ответитьlook at the size of this boyo
absolute unit
