Hey Mark, for the backlighting they are modeling the 2023 A320 new which has the white lighting for the numbers.

15 dec has passed - couldnt find any news about how to order ... still shows units remaining ? no link or message on teh Kickstarter site- Finally got an email from them saying Jan 15th ? still a black hole.

Where do you buy this? I went to the website buy you can't buy it there.

Did any of you get it to work with the FBW mod? Because the mini FCU works with the FBW A320, so it should also work with the mod and the LVFR A321. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Does anyone know why?

I'm a bit confused about what all the hype about this unit is, given there are at least 3 other companies that make this kind of hardware already, which actually works with the Fenix. What is the USP of this?

Best of luck should that usb port decide to break. Why they never opted for usb c is beyond me.

the cable is a joke. And looking at those rubber thingies on the bottom makes me think that the only place where you can attach that is the bathroom wall.

I just recently started up with MSFS and just learned about this unit about a week ago. I'm definitely jumping on the second wave. Greatly appreciate this review and walkthrough. It only reinforces the intent to obtain one for myself.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't know about this product. Mark, any thoughts on creating a video on the best drive configurations for MSFS? Should it be installed on the OS drive or a separate drive? Is there any benefit on using a dedicated NVME drive for caching? I'm currently building a new PC and for productivity a cache drive makes sense. But for FS I've no idea. Cheers again. Keep the videos coming :)

Can the miniFCU be used as autopilot control for other aircraft e.g. Boeing or GA?

Would like to see a test on GA aircraft just to see how compatible it is.

Not thier fault necessarily, but without full FENIX support, no thanks.

The cable looks to be a standard USB A to USB Micro connection, not a custom connector so you can just pick up a 2m USB A to USB Mico connector

This looks like a really nice peace of kit, I fly soley in VR tho so not really good for me ...If i was flying in pancake mode all the time id have this all day long :)

Mark, The Fenix does not work with it in regards the ALL the controls work, but the displays don't, just because Fenix being assholes in my opinion and NOT supporting 3rd party hardware.
VR flightsim guy did a review showing what happens.
Maybe they did not put the coloured gel sheet in front of the displays, very easy to do yourself if you want to change the display colour.

We need accessories like this for Xbox
