we been using external dsplays for long time now on ipadsyou dont need and ipad M1 to do it or even type c how ever it does work better with an m1 or m2 ipad so you can get a larger view but like i said been doing this for long time now on ipads even with lighten ports

So I tried to use a 144Hz LG Ultragear with my iPad - problem is, the monitor is stuck at 60Hz and seems very choppy - is there any way to remedy it? I tried looking it up because it just seems to be way too laggy. I have tried editing the display settings but I am not getting any options anywhere to adjust the refresh rate of the external monitor.

Hi !!! Thanks for the video, i noticed that it seemed you used a Combo Touch from Logitech with the IpadPro 11, how were you able to stick the caldigit cable to it ? I have an m2 Ipad pro, bought the Logitech combotouch and realized the caldigit thunderbolt cable WOULDN"T fit the case. How did you get around this ? Did you use a dremmel to make the hole bigger ? thanks !!!
I do love the combotouch but its a problem if i decide to connect an external monitor via a caldigit thunderbolt docking station.

Given this video is 8 months old, does the latest OS 16.4 finally have this feature (dual monitor) you talk about that the beta was needed for had? sometimes features get removed if its too buggy. In the comments someone mentioned it was removed for a time from the beta. Just wondering if it is now with the OS 16.4? Hoping to be able to hook up ipad Pro to an AOC usb (using adapter) 15.6in monitor and use it as a true second monitor and not merely mirrored. Thanks.
