With all this good cameras dji pocket 3 is the best because regular people are not allowed to bring profisional camera in any sports and concerts. Such a waste of money.
ОтветитьJust wanna know I am switching from Nikon to Soni so what should I buy a, 74 or a 7C2 for weddings?
ОтветитьExcellent ! Thanks ! you are clearly an advanced member of your species .
ОтветитьThis will be a third body for me I have 2 a1’s so this will be a great street and everyday camera for me. Dont worry about the single slot as much. This will be a camera that is always with me
ОтветитьHello folks. Looking for advice here. I have my a7rv and also a7c as my secondary. Considering upgrading my a7c, but not sure whether to go for cII or cR. Thanks for all the suggestions in advance!
ОтветитьI want an A7C S
ОтветитьGoing to wait for the Sony A7CA1 😅.
ОтветитьNo. I did not wonder why your set was so empty! I already knew, the Gnome from Nome, Alaska told me the top secret of what goes on in Jared Polin's new studio: "Keep the place as empty as possible, keep the heat on the thermostat turned all the way down. Keep it like Santa's North Pole Workshop--As COLD as possible." That way even the Sony Fan Boys back at the factory will be exultant, yes exultant, jubilant with the results of your overheating tests of the new Sony a7C R camera! 😎😎
ОтветитьSony's AI focus algorithm favors FACES. Your dude doing the bating has his head and back towards the camera. The dude in the dugout is facing the camera. Of course the camera favors the dude in the dugout. The priority on HUMAN mode is EYES, followed by FACE, followed by human OUTLINE, followed by DISTANCE.
ОтветитьI personally liked the smaller grip from the old a7c, also better material feel. The EVF is perfectly placed on the left, but indeed could be a better quality LCD. Sony is starting to make some dumb limitations, like for example, it can't record 4k60 in aps-c but only with 1.2 crop... And on a7c ii only in aps-c, these are purely marketing limitations. These were tactics used by Canon, now Canon seems to not use them and I think some will move back to Canon.
Ответитьtime to take old Sony for a ride and toss out the window .....again
ОтветитьAnother soulless Sony
ОтветитьI can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Does the a7CR have focus bracketing like the a7RV? If not, that is something that I just don't understand.
ОтветитьHey Jared how come you don't review any fuji products I'm a fuji shoot and would love to see some fuji content on here otherwise great content man.
ОтветитьAye 100% you were Top G back when I first was learning how to take photos. I literally looked p to this channel.
As a matter of fact, you are the reason I got the Sony A77 way back then. I'm currently still shooting with it. - Actually I'm getting ready to do a shoot with it this weekend.
I'll email you the photos when I'm done editing.
Between A7CR and 7R5 , which one is better?
ОтветитьIt's a new cameras with outdated technologies 😂 Really, Sony! Trying to make a money twice from same (actually worst then full size cameras) product.
ОтветитьLike the size but too many shortcomings for a $3K camera (for me). Wish they had made the shutter quieter too. Yes I know it can shoot in silent mode, but that's electronic shutter and for faster moving subjects may have unwanted distortion. And this is more of a stills camera, and Sony could have implemented the very flexible screen design of the A7RV, far better for stills.
ОтветитьGoing with this. Cancelled the order I had just made for the A7rv
ОтветитьI think this camera is going to be extremely popular. Perfect for travelers who can take a small prime and just crop a lot to zoom in and still get very good images.
ОтветитьWhat is the big deal? Sigma FP-L exists with the same (61MP)or better specs (and better video) some 1.5 years now. It's current price is under 2500$ and you can get it as a bundle with the extra EVF for just over 3100$. Which gives you a better articulated EVF (3.7mil dots) better rear screen (2.1mil dots) and an even smaller body. But of course, it's not a "SONY"...
ОтветитьAgree about the screens -another reason why phones are winning
ОтветитьI am also a left eye shooter. Sorry, but that viewfinder placement is complete non-starter, for me.
It is not something I would want to try to get used to. I have shot with a friend’s Sony 6xxx something and it is not for me.
I do not know why Sony would release something like this, or why any left eye shooter would consider buying it.
These new cameras are crap. EVF that’s complete junk, LCD screen is complete junk and lots of rolling shutter. Crap crap crap!
ОтветитьI dont know. I just don't feel like this is good for $900 less than the a7RV. Too pricey for everything that was cut
ОтветитьI would argue a used like new Sony a7c from KEH or MBP for $1500 is a far better option than buying either the a7cII or the a7cR for probably 90%+ of the people out there. Sony made special small/tiny, lightweight fast focusing, tack sharp and pocketable lenses for the a7c - the 24mm f/2.8 and the 40mm and 50mm f/2.5 plus the 28-60mm f/4-5.6 zoom. Sure it is the kit lens but when introduced that lens was a $500 lens so it has the same qualities as the others (double linear auto-focusing motors) and covers all the focal lengths of street photography. If you plan on using bigger and heavier lenses, then just buy a Sony a7iv. Did you actually listen to your video. You are talking about a $3K camera and stating this and that are low quality. Really?
ОтветитьJust to be sure, "R" stands what for, Steve?
ОтветитьDoes fro ever photograph anything outside of what’s 5 miles from him?
ОтветитьThis is where the really hard hitting questions come in. A7RV or A7C R? Is the R C that much smaller for better street photography? What if I want to use the camera for professional photography too, will the C R look like a small toy camera and not fit as well in the hand? What about the EVF, is the RV's that much better? Isn't the C R's shutter much louder than the RV which kinda nullafies it's use for discreet street photography? What if I get into wedding photography where dual cards slots are essential? What the heck, shouldn't I just stay with my RIII?? etc. etc. etc.
Ответитьunfortunately, this thing is DOA simply because of the single card slot. Shame because it's a crazy good camera. Would be nice for a compact portrait/wedding/landscape camera.
ОтветитьSony have completely lost the plot with this release, and what a stupid name!
ОтветитьBOHM
ОтветитьOh, if I had a dream that I wish they could've put my A7R5 in my A7C body..... Well.... I guess dreams do come true! Gonna be a big smile on my face soon!
ОтветитьI wish SONY made a rangefinder style camera with fully blown specs like the A7R V, meaning using 9mp viewfinder, using a 2,1mp display, and actually make it bigger so no one would need to use the added grip. Silly SONY!
ОтветитьBro! Love the new set!
ОтветитьR8 is a better buy imo
ОтветитьI'd much rather you did some more photo critiques Jared. Camera reviews may be your bread and butter, but they are really
only of interest to people already owning that particular brand.
I'm going to buy a new camera from Sony which is better a7Rv or a7CR I hope your advice
Ответитьhow to tell that the writer has writer's block ... yes, flash back story first.
how to tell your R&D departement is stagnant R&D ... yes, Repackaging.
sadly i bought a7iv
ОтветитьJared is there any way you can put the new grip extension on the A7RV? Is it possible?
ОтветитьJared, Wasn’t it you writing text for this video? Watch review of a7c v1 again and feel the difference.
ОтветитьThe Fro Pack rules!
ОтветитьIn 2023, a camera that can’t even do 8 fps in uncompressed raw… Even the a73 can do 10fps uncompressed.
ОтветитьNo, I need all the items in the menu. I like to customise my camera. Everyone has a different need. Less menu options would make the camera less appealing.
ОтветитьAmazing video as always!!!!!
Ответить$3k and a crappy viewfinder and lcd screen from 3 generations ago. Whoever made that decision should be fired.
ОтветитьAs a canon user i feel pity 😌
Ответить
