If i had any tips as a person coming in and learning allot from my transition from RS3 to OSRS in any cases where you can do a little extra n get a little more do it and i mean if you find out there is teleports that make quests or stuff easier don't feel bad about moving from your goal to get advancements that make your journey better or faster i was rocking Rune trying to kill dragons and was struggling to fill my loot bag and my inventory with the bones i did the extra work to do slug menace and the prayer bonus from the " although lower lvl gear " made me only need maybe 1 prayer pot with me and with ease i was doing lootbag + inventory and now i dont even pray or use all my food on trips and money is faster and easier as i leveled with it and there is so many things to help you along the way

Started playing OSRS this week, apart from a bit last year when I was a victim of the RS3 logon lock out. Decided now to focus on OSRS because RS3 has become an MTX minefield and hate it.

Training Ranged at lower levels becomes much cheaper after acquiring and utilizing a Dorgeshuun Crossbow and Bone Bolts. Both can be purchased for very cheap after the Lost Tribe Quest, which has both low requirements and takes very little time to complete (including the prerequisites).

Combat Bracelet is best in slot for gloves for all combat types before acquiring/unlocking a Regen Bracelet, Granite Gloves or Rune Gloves and higher from the Recipe for Disaster Quest. Basically you will be equipped with a combat bracelet for a substantial amount of time after starting a new account; Extremely Beneficial.

You can "teleport" to Port Sarim by walking up to Shantay and telling him that you are a bandit or thug. Refuse to chage your ways in your holding cell and he will be "froced" to deport you to Port Sarim jail. The cage door by the sleeping guard is the only one that F2P can lockpick to get out.

early game tip: You have to spend money to make money ie buy good gear for combat etc. When you're done with the items you can sell them back. For example if you're doing tempoross buy a dragon harpoon. When you've done enough you can sell it back

My early game tip is getting to 50 construction to get a teleport room in your POH. It is usefull at the start but really starts to shine when you unlock other magic books and dont have to swap them to get the teleports.

If you want early game money make sure you do the stronghold of security and you can be a looter at the GE in PVP worlds as well! Quick money to help get quest items to complete those early quests

I am not sure about this, but don't we have to do the grand tree so we can use the tree spirit in gnome stronghold, which is more or less like a hub for the gnome gliders?

Pro tip. Dont have 4 minutes off nothing that really matters to the video idea. Loses everyones attention.

Early game tip: don't let combat stats get too far ahead of other stats. Sucks to be combat lvl 100 with a fishing and cooking level of 50 for example

Here's a tip, place your house in Rimmington. Play in world 330 and buy a lot of house teleports. Just visit a 99 construction house and use their Ornate rejuvenation pool to restore stats/running percentage. And use their Portal Nexus, Ornate jewellery box, Spirit tree & fairy ring to travel around the map.

You can actually do the witche's house first for the hp and then do the waterfall quest safely :)

Early tip- do the tourist trap as soon as possible for early game agility levels

Train slayer early, it will also train your combat lvls.

Early game tip: talk to range and mage tutor and toggle on auto equip ammo and runes

I started playing OSRS earlier this year and my first big goal was to get a quest cape, following the optimal quest order on the OSRS Wiki.

I slightly altered it to do the quests that rewarded farming XP sooner so I could make money from herb runs sooner and that basically funds everything I do.

Now I've got the quest cape, I'm moving on to doing all the hard achievement diaries, again prioritising the ones that make my herb runs better/easier. Then I'll move on to the elite diaries. ☺️

There is a lot more to this and I've left out a lot of other things I did alongside the quest cape and such, but it would be an extremely long write up then, but hopefully this helps anyone. ☺️

If you are wanting to reach max level, I would start with the least favorite skill to do first. Mine was agility 😅

Early game tip: complete as many quests as possible and when you find a quest you don't have the requirements for, use that as a reason to get your levels up

Early tip: When training melee, train Str then Att then Def (in that order). It's gonna have your xp gains a lot higher so you don't waste hours training melee when you didn't have to

Early game i would say focus on teleport getting, stuff like mining, smithing, crafting and magic to get all the beginner jewelry is a good start
