I am from Ottawa, thinking to spend a 2-3 days in toronto cycliing, this gives a good clue, I can put 75km per day max, so Humber trail is the one. thanks, I will have to start from east end of toronto I am guessing. Yeh I think I will start from scartlet road and eglinton as someone commented.

Don Trails are an artery of bike paths and trails in heart of city. Lakeshore to Hamilton to Niagara Falls.

trans canada trail a great weekend ride too. GO train to Stouffville & short country ride to Uxbridge off hwy 47 or Toronto Street, entering Old Train Tracks trail to Lindsay, Ontario; including another stretch down to Peterborough and ride back to Toronto. Beyond the shores of ancient glacial lake Iroquois.. just before lindsay, camp overnight with saturday in Lindsay or ride and check out kirkfield liftlocks at Fenelon Falls then ride to just before Peterborough and camp out with sunday in Peterborough, or riding back to uxbridge and country ride back to Markham into Scarborough. Riding to and from lake simcoe is nice too, hwy 48, McCowan or Warden.. right into Sutton or east end around Pefferlaw or Beaverton.

Completely agree with you in regard to Martin Goodman being #1. I'm from Mississauga and use it quite often as it connects to the Waterfront Trail here, meaning I can go from Port Credit in Mississauga all the way to Tommy Thompson with almost no road riding at all. As an almost exclusively night time rider, that's important for me. This summer, I'm going to start making trips to the Scarborough Bluffs too. Thanks for the suggestions!

Great trails, indeed. Another great ride would be from your front door to any of these trails.

Once at the bridge, you can go past a little more in mimico and it leads you on Lakeshore just east of Royal York.
You can take that to New Toronto and hop on the trails that would take you to Port Credit.

I just did the lower don trail and Taylor creek trail with my friend. Our goal was these scenic statues near the prince Edward viaduct. It was our first time exploring that far and it was an amazing adventure. So stoked to find out that we hit 22km of path😍
