About a year ago i had a lot of customer with a fake chrome installed, which was sending ton of fishing sms to people all over the world
ОтветитьDo I need AV on my phone? No. Do I have it anyway? Yes, and I always will.
ОтветитьI think u should do a video comparing samsung knox vs. Apple security vs. Regular Android security.
ОтветитьHi david. can u try Eset mobile security?,
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьPegasus infects phones using zero day exploits to bypass literally everything, and then infects without any required user interaction. It's not invincible because iOS updates their security regularly and many times patch the exploits pegasus takes advantage of.
ОтветитьMany people [I don't] use their phones to pay for stuff [tap and go] . In fact they will have their whole lives on their phones, because everything is electronic these days. Most don't have Faraday cages on their wallets and phone cases. Basically ANYTHING that has some computing ability and network ability [wired or wireless] is inherently vulnerable to attack. You can harden such devices to reduce the risk, but it is never going to be zero, no matter what the platform.
Ответитьantivirus for phones can be dangerous they can infected your device steal your data and if you dont have virus they can make you
ОтветитьI used to have a very old android it got infected could not even open settings on it 💀💀
ОтветитьWHAT ABOUT ESET NOD 32?
ОтветитьAvira is better☂️
Ответить"Imagine someone's trying to assassinate you and they get access to this, you're pretty much done."
I'm my own antivirus in that regard. I wished you'd have used a more relatable example.
On a more standard note: Haven't had a breach in my entire life (and I don't use antivirus on my desktop at all.) But Google mass signed me out of everything today because my 4 month old phone, including only the stock apps (most of which I have disabled) was flagged as having malware by their auto detection.
I don't know if it actually does but I'm pretty annoyed at this, and it's another point for "smart phones are pretty stupid." Anything too "easy to use" is also too time consuming to precisely control.
I use avast mobile security for android, it's protection is awesome, with BITDEFENDER cloud scanner plus my common sense as an IT professional. Anyways great information shared 👍👍🙏
ОтветитьNice vid, there's a way to do test of the antivirus on Android like you do on pc? Ty ❤
ОтветитьDoes a free version of a Antivirus App really work?
ОтветитьI have gotten this question myself as a technology consultant, and my answer will never change. My answer is, no matter what the device, if it has an internet connection, you need to get a anti-virus program installed onto your computer and cell phones also invest in a VPN service. You never know what you might stumble upon, and anything is possible. Anything that can connect to the Internet is automatically vulnerable to attacks.
ОтветитьI just found your channel and this is so fascinating! I have a question about an app.
The app “iFunny” is a popular social media application. It has a reputation for overheating people’s phones while it’s being used, especially on ios. People joke constantly about it running a crypto miner in the background, which overheats the phone and saps system resources.
When using a “tracker blocking” application (i use Lockdown on ios), it normally reports blocking around 100 “tracking attempts” per day. When I use ifunny, it says it blocks around 50,000 tracking attempts per day. What’s going on here? Would there be a way for me to investigate this?
Pedosus is jewish invention made for denazification of antisemites
ОтветитьWhy when I click on that link for malloc it's blocked.
ОтветитьI mean facebook and google apps are "legitimate" spywares themselves on your phone 💀
ОтветитьSince everyone watches porn on their phones I think it’s absolutely mandatory
ОтветитьThose android malware only exist on ancient versions of android. Using newer and close to stock versions of android is as if not more secure than ios.
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure android sandboxes apps....
ОтветитьLiving in a country where the ruling party used this on the opposition and then didnt even acknowledge that they did this is just depressing
ОтветитьNo regular person has to worry about pegasus. It's targeted and costs tens of thousands of dollars to deploy. It's as likely as Danny Ocean robbing your house.
ОтветитьMy other device has already been hacked by an ex and or roommates. Did they get all my account info, email and password with that Spyware? Will they be able to access all that on my new device and phone number??? Is there an anti virus I can get to stop this proble.?
ОтветитьDude I didn't know that you've Indian background
Ответитьomg
ОтветитьIs iMazing a safe tool to detect Pegasus on iOS devices using a PC? thanks
ОтветитьSamsung has a feature to encrypt the SD card if you don't unlock the phone, will this help to maintain a little privacy?
ОтветитьDr web security space also good.
ОтветитьGlasswire blocks New apps from internet access and sets profiles with differential apps
Not an antivírus but helps a lot
What about wifi security? Is it usefull to have an app like Norton which can test this?
ОтветитьGood video Leo! Thanks for always sharing with us! Merry Christmas! to you and the family🎄🎁✝😎JP
ОтветитьDisingenuous salesman tries to manipulate you into buying crap you don't need whilst wearing a sh*t eating grin
Ответитьfor android antivirus necessary if you install apk from internet for installs apk by mistake from internet. android viruses are nasty once infected you need to format your device still cant say you are safe
ОтветитьAnother useless video, that literally states that download from play store is safe and can't get you infected and as stated popular comment, Pegasus is used not on every day user, but on high level people. More and more I see that you post videos just for an ad, sad to see.
ОтветитьGuys on my samsung j2 prime is bulit knox and powered by intel security. Is that secure and enough?
ОтветитьShortly put- no you dont need an anti virus on mobile devices
ОтветитьWhat so you think about CCleaner
ОтветитьCan someone make a list or video about the best/good free firewalls /protection Programms for pc for people that don’t have any deep IT knowledge? Since there are many free sponsored anit virus Programms that we’re trash or really bad like only 1 year ago and still get promoted and it’s Hard to know it those are actually good or just scam
ОтветитьI don't on my phone. But i recommend it for others beacuse of the number of false links, ads, pages that load from social media apps. And most people are too keen to open any link and install whatever they are shown on their phones and tablets, mostly kids!
ОтветитьCan You do also a video about Linux? For example do you need an av on Linux and maybe review clamAV which is opensource and recently reached v 1.0?
ОтветитьI had a previous smartphone that had a tracker installed without my knowledge or permission. It was McAffe app that i was told its for security improvements!
ОтветитьHow much would Lockdown Mode do to protect you from an attack like Pegasus?
ОтветитьHey man, great job. Can you put ClamAV to the test?
Ответить
