When you think about it, the fact that Shinobu decided to put four boys in the Butterfly Mansion, knowing well enough that Hashira could die at any given moment as they face the strongest demons, could I in fact suppose that she tried to make sure that the girls would become friends (or more) with the boys and have someone as an emotional (and physical) support in the situation her treatment with the poisons or a demon would manage to kill the master of the house, Shinobu?
