The number one issue for me is that insane screen for everything in the middle of the dashboard. That interface would stop me even test driving the thing. Dangerous. I will stick with my 20 year old Toyota Corolla.

I will keep my Skoda Fabia that does 45 mpg range 400 miles on one tank of petrol. Just travelled 1200 miles up to Scotland and back. Stopped twice to refuel for just five minutes and off on the road again. Saw EVs charging up. How many charges would they need to do the 1200 miles I did.?

You hired a tesla to see if it was any better, drove 80 miles and decided to charge up at the crap chargers you were using before rather than see if a tesla charger would be better, all the while talking about the problems with the old honda e, one of the EV cars with the worst range and charging speeds available.
I have vibes this video was only shot to prove a point, rather than actually see if the tesla was better.
Having said that, that arm rest rattle and bonging would drive me round the bend.

Did EV car manufacturers not realise they would need to standardise chargers and connector, provide the charging infrastucure throughout the land, be in contact with chargers to know when they needed repair and repair them promptly?
How do they hope to compete with ICE vehicles?

Hybrids are the solution. They don't need charging so they don't waste electricity and don't have a range problem. The utilities don't need to be rebuilt to charge them!!!!

CARB lies about the efficiency of EVs. In theirARB/MSD/7-6-94 they claim that the battey is 80% and the motor 90%. These are LIES!!! Charging a battery one hour is 5.88% efficient. In 15 minutes it is only 0.3675%!!! The motor efficiency depends on how many stops are made. Each time it starts the motor and system efficiency are almost ZERO!!!!!

I'm so glad I didn't jump on this bandwagon. Everybody has to get the latest thing. I'm sticking to my gas filled vehicle.

Note: If you have a EV ensure you buy in advance the AAA Platinum Titanium Black Express+ Towing package. To include the extended range UBER package. Because you will need it constantly.

30 to 60 minutes to charge an EV that can go 300 miles versus 5 minutes to fill up with gasoline that can go 400 miles...it's an easy choice for me!

This is what makes me mad: There is a huge electrical network that covers the globe but such a limited vehicle charging network!

Being a Truck driver enthusiast as shown in your numerous videos i guess it is better you stick with combustion engines. Electric vehicles are the better choice, by far, but surely for a younger generation. 😊 I have had many thrilling cars and today the two best car manufacturers in my opinion are Tesla and Ferrari. The first for the week and the second for the weekend. 🎉 Cheers 🥂
