Hogwarts Legacy Nintendo Switch Version Differences Explained

Hi, I’ve been trying to find out if one story can be played between 2 different Switches? For example, if I start the game using my Switch on the TV will I be able to load that same game later on my Switch Lite when I’m not at home? Or does the game save to the console like Animal Crossing?

I was able to pick up the deluxe for $48.99 on tge eshop so i bought digital

What’s funny is as of this very second, it’s cheaper to download the deluxe edition than the standard on the Switch store. Though I think it’s only available till the end of the day. Saying that I don’t have a PS4 anymore and I haven’t picked up a PS5, the Switch edition is my only choice at the moment. Don’t think the extra loading screens and the 30fps will bother me. Can’t wait to play it.

I ended up buying the Deluxe Edition today since it was on sale and ended up being $14 cheaper than the standard version!

We got a physical copy. Games pretty fun.

If I spend the Extra $10 or more for me because I found the regular version on sale for $39 USD do I get early access to the killing curse that I can use in game or is that just for that arena

Is the dlc content or extras in deluxe version however you wanna frame it on the physical cartridge or is it a download? I only do digital content on pc.
Edit ohh it says download required right there on the cover art of both versions. Presumably that means neither version will function at all without a download. I'll go ps5 or seriex x version instead for physical I guess

I got legacy version on sale for $39 at Walmart for cyber week. Fun game for sure.

My prediction is that load times will make this unplayable

I thought about getting the game for switch but I went for the PC deluxe version and since that was also discounted to 42 euro it was a win win.

I'm reading that the Onyx hippogriff is a pre-order bonus not part of the deluxe edition. I'm buying it as a christmas present for someone though so I'm not too knowledgeable on the game. I bought mine from Amazon and it has the sticker on it saying it has the Onyx Hippogriff so I assume it is left over pre-order stock but the case is sealed so I can't open it to see if there is actually a code in there for it ( assuming it is via a code ).

My wife used to love Harry Potter, after having kids she changed her mind. So I purchased this game for ps5 and have yet to finish because we’re always doing something else. I’m probably gonna have to get this on switch just to be able to finish the story on my own time

You can actually get the dark arts pack through a DLC if one didn’t get the deluxe version.

The Hogsmeade quest was one of my favourites in the game. Shame that it was only a PS exclusive. Such a great experience, it would be nice for everyone to be able to play it.

I got the deluxe version for myself and for my step sister for the switch. I also have it for my Xbox one series x can’t wait to see how this is gonna look on the switch tho. I’m getting the game cartridge.

I am Harry Potter fan since childhood, so whether or not the graphic or performance will be good, I am still getting the game as Nintendo is my only console. My preorder just started to download and I’m so excited to play it next week!

i dont really know if its a currency thing but in the UK each version is 10bucks cheaper (switch version)

This is the game which i would've pre ordered, but when mk1 release it turned out to be just as I was expecting it, trash. And I'm even more sceptical about Hogwarts, so I'm not buying this game until I see like 10 gameplay vids. It's shameful how companies don't even release gameplay footage of modern switch games so that they can scam people off thier money
