I have never seen someone explain the concept of call by reference and value through stack(which is how it works in real life). kudos!!
ОтветитьCall by pointer vs call by reference. ?
ОтветитьI cannot explain how much I love you. Thank you so much! Your explanations are the best.
ОтветитьCan't i do that:
int increment(int);
int main()
{
int a=10;
increment(a);
}
int increment(int x)
{
x+=1;
printf("%d",x);
}
that was a very great explanation. i wanted to call by reference a pointer but my program was not working.
Ответить9 years old video, still relevant to this day, thanks for making the concept of pointers crystal clear, god bless u, good man!
Ответитьcall by refernece is clear now. u must start a coding school :D
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you.
ОтветитьDoesn't the "return" statement solve this issue?
Ответитьgreat
ОтветитьI don't really comment that much, but this is pure perfection!!! RIP Harsha
Ответитьjoi guru
Ответитьi couldnt understand the jargon of the C book and the endless stackexchange links. Your diagram is infinitely simpler. i finally understand memory allocation in C (or begin to understand)
Ответитьeasy to understand and very useful
ОтветитьThis man is great af <3
can someone let me know what is he doing now ?
A perfect explanation to pointers and how to use. Even the video is 8 years old it still teaches valuable information, well done.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU! exactly what I was looking for
ОтветитьWho needs code with Harry ... You are the best ❤️
ОтветитьAfter 3 years working as a CS professional, I have finally understood call by value and call by reference lol
ОтветитьSuper
Ответитьcould anybody explain why it is *p = (*p) + 1 and not *p = *p + 1? When i try to check the value of *p with printf its 10 so why we need () ?
Ответитьbhai bahut achaa kaam karte ho aap. thank you so much .
Ответить"Albert! "...
me: yes, i m here...
Hello sir Animesh thanks so much
ОтветитьI'm watching the whole pointer playlist and I must say that these are the best I could find on the whole internet...
We are simultaneously learning about assembly (or low level stuff) which is awesome! Everything makes sense now and as I watch more videos, the clarification increases.
You're a hero!
ОтветитьThanks sir .
You are the best teacher in the world.
Thanks a lot, you are the best on this !
ОтветитьMan this is awesome
ОтветитьThis is the first time I understood what exactly call by reference is .... thank you so much.
Subscribed You
Your precise explanations are putting collage professors to shame! Kudos to you
Ответитьsummary :- Albert was a dumbass. He should've taken int as datatype for the increment function and later on returned a after the increment was done....In the main function, printing the function with argument ''a'' would've worked for him.....LOL
ОтветитьI understood the video. What i dont get is why the codes we made in class, that have functions wriiten without pointers, still return the correct result. Could you maybe suggest another way to fix the increment function in this video not using pointers?
ОтветитьThat kinda reminds me of Rust
ОтветитьI have several books on C, including those that are top rated on amazon.
These videos beat them all.
Exceptionally useful. Thank You.
thank you so much for trainding
Ответитьthank you
Ответитьthanks man this is awesome l would love to give you a hug
Ответить☹️☹️
ОтветитьHello bro, the method you show is called call by address. Call by reference is different.
ОтветитьGOD LEVEL Explanation
Ответитьplease just come backk ! okayy..??!
Ответитьsir which compiler is this.plzz answer.
ОтветитьPlease make a video like this for 2D Array 🙏🙏
ОтветитьOne word. WOW.
