आज बघितला पहिल्यांदा हा सिनेमा. जेव्हा रिलीज झाला तेव्हा मुद्दामच नाही बघितला, कारण म्हटलं कशाला बघायचा तो पिक्चर? जुनी खपली उपटून निघेल ह्याची भिती वाटली. खरंच मुलं हे भित्रे असतात. त्यावेळची अख्खी पिढीच भित्री होती. कारण ती पिढी संवेदनशील होती. प्रेमळ होती. ब्रेकअप झाला तर दुसरी शोधणारी नव्हती, किंवा 'इसमे तेरा घाटा' असे म्हणणारी नव्हती. तर आत्महत्या करणारी होती. मला आठवतंय 'एक दुजे के लिये' ह्या चित्रपटाचा शेवट हा आत्महत्येचं प्रमाण वाढल्यामुळे बदलला होता. त्या पिढीत प्रत्येकातल्या हृदयातील कथा ह्या 'ती सध्या काय करतेय' चित्रपटात मांडली आहे. सतीश राजवाडेचं सादरीकरण उत्तम. वीस-तीस वर्षा पूर्वीचा काळ जसाच्या तसा उभा केला आहे. एका दृश्यात तर मी तो कापूस पिंजणारा बॅकग्राऊंड मध्ये पहिला.👏👏👏 अर्थात माझ्या आयुष्यात पण तसंच घडलं. बारावीचे दिवस होते. पहिल्यांदा पंख फुटून आभाळात उडणाऱ्या पक्ष्याला जस वाट होत अगदी तस्संच मलापण वाटत होतं. कॉलेजातल्या सर्व मुली माझ्यावर फिदा, पण मला आवडत होती फक्त तिचीच अदा. सगळं ओठावर येत होतं पण बाहेर पडत नव्हतं. त्या मुळे अभ्यासावरच लक्ष उडालं होतं. मग ठरवलं की रिझल्ट लागल्यावर विचारू. कारण खरं प्रेम म्हणजे माझ्या व्यक्तिमत्वावर आत्मविश्वास असेल तर ती होकार देईल असा विचार केला. कारण मुलाची पत पाहून कुणीपन लग्न करील, कारण त्याला हृदय लागत नाही. मुलाची क्षमता तपासायला एकनिस्सीम प्रेमाचं हृदय लागत. अपेक्षे प्रमाणे रिझल्ट वाईट लागला. तिला मेडिकलला ऍडमिशन मिळाली. देवाने आमची भेट पुन्हा घडवली. माझी अन तिची सकाळची बस सुदैवाने एकाच वेळेची निघाली. ती पुन्हा रोज दिसू लागली. मी आशाळभुतपणे आत्ता परत तिच्याकडे पाहू लागलो. पण तिने मान वळवली. वर्ष असंच वळलेली मान बघण्यात गेली. नंतर ट्रेन बदलली. मार्ग बदलले. मी इंजिनीअर झालो. ती डॉक्टर झाली. मग तिचं काय झालं ते कळलं नाही. संभाजीनगर ला आहे की बाहेर आहे काही काही माहीत नाही. कारण कुठेही सोशल मीडियावर ती किंवा तिची मैत्रीण नाही सापडली. काही वर्षांपूर्वी तिची जिवलग मैत्रीण एका ऑफिसमध्ये भेटली. म्हटलं विचारावं तिला, तर तिने ओळखच दाखवली नाही. संपलं सगळं. ओठावरचं ओठाच्या आतच राहिलं. "Depart amicably and just be friends" हा जो कन्सेप्ट ह्या चित्रपटात सांगितला आहे हा भारतीय समाजात बसणारा नाही. We just departed with memories for lifetime.💗 And that is the reality.
