Bro the saddest part is how real science is actually way better than the sci fi here. There's no need to harvest the ones with good genes. All you need is a single drop of blood and then run something called PCR. And you could make an infinite amount of the good dna and then just put the genes you want into a virus that has been edited not to make you sick. Then inject the subject with the other person's genes and the subjects cells will now make the better proteins and they themselves will begin to see the benefits.
Heck were doing this already to fix muslce wasting disorders. Take the good genes from strong kids, insert it into a virus that infects muslce cells, inject it into the sick mice. And within a few weeks to previously no muscle mass mice are building new muscle
