Oh my gosh! I'm type 2 diabetic. If I ate a sweet potato or oats, my glucose would go off the charts. Bad advice. I have to count total carbs, not net carbs. Oranges are loaded with sugar (fructose/glucose). Legumes are pure starch. 😅

There's only one way to lower blood sugar without medication. That's to stop eating carbohydrates or to lower them as low as possible. I allow myself a maximum of 12 carbs per day and have for 30 years now. Fruit and grains are the worst offenders for raising blood sugar. It really doesn't matter if it raises your blood sugar suddenly or over a couple of hours they both will require the same amount of total insulin. Eat beef, pork, poultry, sea foods, fats(butter, eggs, cheese, nuts, seeds). Perhaps a couple of small servings of low carb vegetables like fresh greens.

My type 2 blood sugar got out of hand recently. Yes all about diet and exercise. I removed away any food related to starch, sweets or processed foods from the kitchen. As much as I loved pizza and pasta which I made myself, all gone. All jams, chocolates gone. Now mostly eat sea food, meat, beans, cheese, and green veggies. Yoghurt and seeds and nuts and fruit with low GI for snacking, home made diabetic chocolates etc. blood sugar comes right down to normal range. The best way to deal with it is never ever eat or buy anything that can influence the sugar level, all low GI foods and they are just as tasty as starch products 🤘

Will a little lemon and a little apple cider in water break a fast. My sugar has greatly improved since I’ve been fasting 16/8.
I don’t want to drink it if it does, but I drink it after I break my fast. As far as I know neither have enough calories to break fast.

Hello! Most of the diabetic patients are kidney patients (CKD) as well. Therefore, the food you prescribed is not good for CKD patients
A good example is avocados that contain high-level of potassium

Avoid processed foods and sugary products like donuts or pastry. My favorite ingredient is hemp seeds, it is loaded with protein and omega 3 and 6. Add hemp seeds to your steel oatmeal for breakfast along with eggs and other nuts and seeds, it not only provides satiety but also is healthy. It clears up my brain fog in the morning after consuming hemp seeds for 7-10 days.

This is all about a plant diet. A meat/animal based diet has almost NO blood sugar spikes because there is almost no carbohydrates.
Note that the only animal protein advised is fatty fish. Without fish, the advice on this podcast would be horribly deficient in essential amino acids, essential vitamins, and essential FATS!
Red meat provides these essential nutrients to process fat soluble vitamins and overall health. Eggs, beef, bacon, and butter will satisfy and guarantee lower blood sugar. Fat, instead of carbs will be used to supply energy to muscle and brain/nerve cells.

One egg per day is pathetic. Make a good omelet with 5-6 pasture fed chicken eggs and you will be satisfied for hours!

A red meat based diet will reverse prediabetic and diabetic insulin resistance. This podcast gives half-assed and totally debunked crap to promote vegetarian ideology. Nothing on this has shown any real results.
Repeating the same thing and expecting different results is insanity.

I had a 1typ of blood sugar but i was experienc a allergy wth my hand its been long time become close or become ok its so very pain then i was eat a bitter guard and a leaves of guava, leaves of guyabano i make it boil and i drink it then i was avoid all the sweet food i was suffering my blood sugar....😢😢😢😢
