I know this may be easier to target but it’s also very cheap in most cases to just transmute alt until you get what u want and then regal. If you hit it your good if you don’t scour and repeat. There’s no reason to chaos spam. I don’t know fossil prices but I have crafted and sold a lot of jewels and I don’t know if fossils are worth it

Where do you see which mod pools notables are in ? I can't see anything at all for notable categories on poedb

This whole fossil crafting and spreadsheet stuff on PoE is confusing to me.
If we want a cluster jewel that has something like Corrosive Elements would we have to use Scorched/Frigid/Metallic all together at once?

ALWAYS Rolling your own Medium and Small jewels and then buying Large jewels perfect jewels (2 prefixes 2 jewels sockets 1 dead suffix for point efficiency) seems to work out for me.

I used craft of exile to check for what are chances for crafting good stuff using different methods and it is very difficult to fossil craft for profit. It's useful if there is very potent combination like herald nodes but every one tries to craft them so you lose 50c on average with bound fossil.
I guess it is useful if you want to craft one for your own build that's not available to trade for or in ssf.

can you use fossils ot hit Deep cuts and Devastator? I can't think of a fossil combo to make it more likely since those jewels can kinda Only run attack mods

craft of exile is a great tool for this. it shows you what nodes the fossil blocks or multiplies and it shows the average number of attempts you have to make with each combination of fossils and average cost of it

Here's the problem I see with this; Even with the weighting, a lot of the decent fossils are 5+ chaos per use, so you're talking about close to 10c per swing for some more juicy jewel crafts. Can you hit big? Absolutely. But the requirement of buying up tons of resonators, buying up tons of fossils either individually or in bulk, it doesn't really seem to outweigh chaos spam that much? Maybe on jewels with mod pools tied to cheaper fossils but imagine trying to use Lucents for this.

Potential, but too clunky unless you're really dedicated.
