Hey, you actually know what youre doing! It amazes me how horrible the flying is on most YT videos. Fluctuating altitudes, out of trim and essentially zero pedal usage. The worst part is people commenting how good the flying is, when its terrible. Do gamers not understand what "simulator" means??

Hello, i may be doing something wrong but when i switch to the nav, it actually doesn't follow my gps and stays at the same course ( doesn't change my direction to the flight plan at all)

Loved your tutorial series so far. Do we have similar tutorials for airbus as well?

When switching to NAV I get GPS (in white) and HDG (in green) to the left of AP and the plane does not move to alight the pink arrow? There’s also a DTK in white with a heading next to it in degrees?

A small question here, is Autopilot the same as the AI pilot in the game? Meaning, if I wanted to increase the Sim rate and travel faster with the auto-pilot on, would it let me do that? I know for a fact that when the AI is on, I cannot do that. Only learning about the Auto-pilot and how to use it now through this video. Thanks!

Very well-made video

I know this is from 2 years ago but I still can't get the aircraft to fly the route. The plane just wants to do its own thing evey time ap is on. I can set altitude to 15000ft at a climb of 300ft per minute which the plane will do then I press nav and altitude hold then the plane loses track of the nav line if I set the plane to descend the plane does nothing even when alt hold is off and descent has been set. When I put in in GPS and press nav mode it is doing a continuous 360 degree turn.

I've just begun to mess around with MFS for the last few days, with a mouse and keyboard, and I've been in this plane with the screens once or twice, and my brain just completely baulked at all these screens and dials, I didn't even want to consider thinking about what they were for.
But, even just being told what the buttons and dials do, without knowing exactly how to use them, is extremely helpful, it means that my brain now accepts that they are really there, and that they serve a purpose. Instead of my subconscious just flat-out ignoring them.
It was a similar story in the beginning with the clocks and gauges. I'd be looking at them and my brain would refuse to take in the information on them, even on things like the compass and the "clock" clock, until I pretty much forced myself to look at them and deliberately tell my brain to accept them, things like that the airspeed indicator was my speed, and Alt was altitude, etc.

Is there a way to put a nav ball on the external camera view? I enjoy using the chase cam, but it's difficult to fly level without the reference.

My auto pilot works great until I have to change a setting. Nothing can be changed once in the air.

I’m on Xbox and for the life of me I can not get it to follow the pink line anymore. It used to work all the time, but for some reason now it doesn’t work. I have FD mode on, NAV mode on, and approach mode. When I turn AP on that used to prompt it to follow the line but now it doesn’t work. Anyone have any ideas??

Since downloading MFS premium my PC is corrupted, there are files that end squirrel, none of my games, some I have hundreds of hours on, function more than a few minutes now, steam activity said I added £22.49 to my wallet, then deducted such, I paid £109.99 for MFS. When loading it says top right enthused 233 with a logo, looks like a hedgehog ? maybe you could help, give some advice ???

👨‍🦽After a massive update, i lost the autopilot. I reloaded the entire flight simulator program and still have no autopilot. Can anyone help me?

Wow basically all autopilot does is go towards a heading or an altitude it doesn’t really fly the plane the plane flys itself besides power control

Autopilot keeps flipping my plane upside down and crashing me into the ground.
