10 Tips to Deal with HATERS on YouTube (Bad Comments and Criticism)

This is a really good video and great tips to help creators. I have a physical disability that effects my voice by giving me a lisp, so I am use to dealing with haters all my life and knowing how to seprate out those from some one truely trying to cretique what you do to help you out. Sometimes what some one tells you call fall into a grey area and it is up to you on how you deal with it. For me If I can find a good way to respond to it in a way that shows I don't put up with haters of bullys then I will, if not then I will just delete it. For instance I had some one call me a nerd and a geek on my video game channle. I just told them that I am and that i am proud of it and left it at that.

It’s not what these toxic people say that bothers me. It’s how incredibly small, petty and immature they are while being completely oblivious and entitled. They think immaturity is funny and have no sense of how they denigrate themselves by being so.

Hey Roberto, I discovered your channel recently in my journey towards launching a YT channel. This video was very helpful. It says a lot that it was able to hold my attention despite there being no fancy graphics or transitions. Ultimately the value you provide comes from the message, hence it kept my retention! Cheers.

I have a small channel but I already got a couple of adhominem attacks I just ignore them and in back of my head I thank them for visiting and watching in my channel. Thank you for this wonderful video.

That what I do. Block and Ban.

Can’t type out your own opinion without getting a hateful disagreement or a competitive argument. That other person has to be smarter than you apparently. Having your own opinion just seems to make everyone angry.

got a comment like what is is this 2012 editing? note I edit my videos with 0 knowledge on editing I did engineering I can make you a tool out of scrap metal and it will be strong and reliable
i cant go from that to making a video and making 2022 standard editing over night when I don't know where to start

This is really great info, and I appreciate you making it. What happens tho when you have someone who's genuinely mentally unbalanced - from another country - stalking you? The cops can't do anything because it's another country, and they start writing horrible stuff about you all over the internet about you and your business? All over the web? I'm a tiny business and it'd be so expensive to hire professionals to work in 2 countries to stop the harassment.

The problem that I seem to see the most of is people feeling entitled about what someone else makes. That’s perhaps the case where I end the discussion. It’s kind of rediculous. Unreasonable Demands

Ive been dealing with haters for a while now and they give me anger issues and make me feel worse and worthless and I can’t stand them anymore.

I am a small channel but the more views I get the more negative comments come. More so rude and unnecessary comments so I delete them. And I hold all comments before they get published.

Great video, I had one hate comment and it angered me so bad. I deleted the comment

I have a troll (bot?) who creates a new account every other week, so even shadow banning doesn't work. On YT, it's easy to make unlimited accounts and the troll can continue. He's been commenting on my channel for 3 years now, after I blocked hundreds of accounts. So ignoring or blocking doesn't work. It's harrassing and frustrating! What can you recommend there? Thanks!

I have a bachelors in psychology and someone in the comments said, “ why do people who are psychologists know the least?” I’m like this comment is out of nowhere and holds no merit, because this person probably has the slightest idea what it takes to be a psychologist
